Farhan, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
During my formative years, I was fortunate enough to attend the prestigious Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK) in Bangladesh. My parents sent me there for educational purposes, and I spent a total of 7 years completing both my SSC and HSC. Managed by the esteemed Bangladesh Army, the school instilled in me an unwavering sense of discipline and structure that has remained with me to this day.
My time at MCSK was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The environment was conducive to my personal growth, and it greatly influenced my self-confidence and self-esteem. The professors were not only knowledgeable but also inspiring, and their guidance was instrumental in shaping my character. I also had the privilege of interacting with senior brothers and juniors, and most importantly my 71 friends who were all equally motivated and driven to succeed.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Having been in the fashion industry for quite some time now, it’s hard to pick just three skills or qualities that I’ve had to master. I’ve faced countless challenges, but one thing I’m particularly proud of is my unwavering determination to never give up on my aspirations. I’ve persevered and persisted until I found solutions to every obstacle. Another valuable lesson I’ve learned is that despite going above and beyond to help others, there will always be unappreciative people whose negative words should not be taken to heart. Maintaining a positive outlook and pursuing your dreams is crucial, and although you may not be enough for everyone, you may be everything to some. Do it for those who believe in you, and most importantly, do it for yourself. Lastly, the most important quality I discovered on my journey is that there’s always a solution to every problem. If you dig deep enough, you’ll find it. So keep trying until you succeed.

I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of my amazing parents, who have been instrumental in shaping me into the confident and successful person I am today. With both of them working in the fashion industry, I have been fortunate enough to pursue my passion in this field with their guidance and expertise. Even when faced with difficult obstacles and moments of doubt, my parents have always encouraged me to stay patient, remain focused on finding solutions, and never give up on my dreams. Thanks to their love and encouragement, I know that anything is possible.
