Meet Dream Gray

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dream Gray . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dream, we are so appreciative of you taking the time to open up about the extremely important, albeit personal, topic of mental health. Can you talk to us about your journey and how you were able to overcome the challenges related to mental issues? For readers, please note this is not medical advice, we are not doctors, you should always consult professionals for advice and that this is merely one person sharing their story and experience.
I’ve learned to take it one step at a time and to use energy on fixing it instead of letting my feelings get the best of me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a mother, business owner and certified in mental health. All are equally important to me . Being a mother prepares me for the world and helps me deal with what life brings. My brand PinkMagicByDream is important to me because I have several beauty products along with apparel. Self care and feeling good is a huge part of mental health so they tie together.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
It’s hard to pick just three. However to narrow it down , I’d have to say being able to listen and remove feelings so that you don’t allow ur feelings to delay the message, be a walking example of the mental health tips I give out to people and lastly learning to always make people feel comfortable by providing knowledge when it come to my brand and giving advice. As far as advice I would say , keep going ! Don’t allow people to knock you down the way to becoming a household name is consistency. Have pride in what you provide , and always remember, Lots of brands sell the same product and are rich. Many can have the same product but people are always going to gravitate to good experiences and consistency. Quality Over Quantity

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
The name of the game is options. It’s always good to be able to choose. Sometimes working on several strong points can bring everything together on one big idea. Also it can help with networking. I can’t count how many times i have met people in prestigious levels at places that had nothing to do with what they helped me with . You can get a job in the medical field and a patient can point you in the direction to better your wholesale prices. It’s also all about energy you never know who you’ll run into or whose day you’ll make that can you put you in a better position than you were before. Always remember to pace yourself as well have short term goals that help you to reach your long term goals. Everything will happen in time patience is needed to get to perfection.
