We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Emerald Orgone a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Emerald , so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?
Self care is vital in all regards. If we can’t show up for ourselves then we cannot show up for others or our business, self care for us is daily. This includes physical movement, exercise, yoga, strength, training, breath work, and meditation.

We even like to do cold water therapy in the Creek,as we also work at the hot springs soaking is also part of our self care routine-daily.

We find when we take care of ourselves first and foremost, we perform our best and can be more effective and impactful.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
We’ve been on this journey with Emerald Orgone for four years now self-sufficient,independent living a very minimalistic lifestyle, learning various skills by working at cottonwood hotsprings and Feel better LTD in Buena vista,CO between Gem shows and expos where we exhibit our handmade creations known as Orgonite.

Orgonites are Free energy-life force generating devices that we create by hand with intention and responsibly sourced rare earth minerals, metals and resin.
Based on the research of Dr.Wilhelm Reich and others -this ancient technology resurfaces…

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Don’t have expectations for example; when things go wrong look at that as an opportunity to shift perspective and adapt We grow the most when we are going through it.

Don’t take anything personally

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Whenever we feel overwhelmed, We like to do some deep breathing or get into some cold water ,maybe go for a run anything physical to get that energy moving and bring you into a present state of being ,instead of worrying about what needs to be done we like to give ourselves space to figure out just how we’re going to get things done. We like to remember that everything happens in its timing.
