Meet Chantel Oakley

We recently connected with Chantel Oakley and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Chantel, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I attribute my resilience and perseverance to the lessons instilled in me from a young age. I grew up in a financially constrained environment within a rural community with limited resources. Despite these challenges, my parents served as unwavering role models, imparting the value of perseverance by constantly encouraging me to “dust myself off and get back up,” reminding me that I am strong and can do hard things.

My early years were marked by a passion for sports, yet the community I belonged to offered scarce opportunities for young girls in this realm. Undeterred, I navigated my formative years by participating in all-boys teams. This experience taught me the importance of toughness and resilience, as I realized that earning respect, achieving success, and securing playing time required an unwavering commitment to being resilient and determined.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am the founder of two impactful ventures, my BodyMindJoy program and SanoVita Consulting. BodyMindJoy is a 90 day fitness program designed to help women become confident in their skin, toned, strong, develop a healthy relationship with food and experience joy when life feels stressful and chaotic. This program is very holistic in nature in that it contains workouts, a meal plan, nutrition coaching, mindset coaching, a community of supportive women and access to me as a Health Coach.

What sets BodyMindJoy apart is its emphasis on a comprehensive approach to wellness. It goes beyond traditional fitness programs by integrating mental well-being and mindfulness into the journey toward a healthier and happier lifestyle. This holistic perspective allows participants to not only achieve physical fitness but also cultivate mental resilience and emotional balance.

On the other hand, SanoVita Consulting is my consulting company that specializes in providing consulting services that help fitness companies integrate technology into their offerings and products. We work with gyms who desire to integrate smart machines or a virtual platform into their offerings, or tech companies looking to design fitness tech products. Our goal is to bridge the gap between technology and the fitness journey.

What excites me the most about both ventures is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals’ lives. Witnessing positive transformations in physical health and mental well-being is incredibly fulfilling. I believe that true wellness extends beyond just the absence of illness, and both BodyMindJoy and SanoVita are dedicated to promoting a balanced and joyful approach to life.

As for new developments, I recently created a 90 day fitness program called BodyMindJoy. It is specifically designed to help busy women become confident in their skin, get toned, strong, develop a healthy relationship with food and experience joy when life feels stressful and chaotic. The program offers daily workouts, a meal and nutrition plan, nutrition and mindset coaching, weekly group coaching calls and daily access to me. The program is pretty amazing and the women who are participating in it are seeing great results without having to live at the gym or starve themselves!

I am passionate about creating positive and lasting changes in individuals’ lives, and I look forward to the continued growth and impact of both the BodyMindJoy program and SanoVita Consulting.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
shaped my path. Firstly, adaptability has been my compass in the ever-changing landscape of the health and fitness realm. Embracing new ideas, technologies, and methodologies has not only kept me relevant but has also fueled my continuous evolution. Effective communication stands out as a personal triumph, influencing how I connect with clients, collaborate with industry partners, and serve in advisory capacities. The ability to articulate ideas, educate, and inspire has been a deeply personal and rewarding aspect of my career. Moreover, networking and relationship building have been the heartbeat of my journey, evident in collaborations with esteemed organizations like Spyn AI, US/Nike Sports, and the 30 Day Fitness app. To those embarking on their journey, I urge you to foster a growth mindset, invest in your education to stay at the forefront of industry trends, and build a supportive network of mentors and peers. The journey in the health and wellness world is profoundly personal, requiring a blend of personal growth, knowledge, and authentic connections for true success.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely! I am always enthusiastic about collaborating with individuals who share a vision and a burning desire to make a positive impact on the world through fitness and wellness, particularly in the realm of mental health. I find great joy in working with those who not only have innovative ideas but also follow through with their commitments. If you’re someone with a passion for creating positive change and are dedicated to turning ideas into action, I would love to connect with you. Whether you’re a fellow health enthusiast, a wellness expert, or someone deeply committed to making a difference, let’s join forces and amplify our impact together. Feel free to reach out through my professional channels (Instagram- @chanteloakley, or email [email protected]) and let’s embark on a journey of collaboration that brings meaningful change to the world of fitness, wellness, and mental health. Your energy, commitment, and shared passion are the driving forces that turn dreams into reality, and I am excited about the potential that collaborative efforts hold.
