Meet Verô Souza

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Verô Souza. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Verô, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
Keeping my creativity alive is all about balancing work with activities that refresh and inspire me. I often take breaks to enjoy nature, which helps clear my mind. Learning new things, whether through reading or interacting with other creatives, always brings fresh ideas. Personal projects are important too; they allow me to experiment freely, which can be really refreshing. But the key is balance. Regular breaks and looking after my own well-being by prioritizing self-care are crucial for keeping my creativity at its best.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m Verô, the creative behind Verô Branding. My path in design and branding began with a passion for visual arts and a deep connection to wellness and personal storytelling. This led me to start my own branding studio, where I combine these passions to help businesses, especially in the wellness and coaching sectors, express their unique stories through visual design and make a bigger impact in the world.

What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to dive deep into each client’s story, uncovering their core values and bringing them to life visually. This process isn’t just about creating a logo or a color scheme; it’s about crafting a visual narrative that authentically represents who they are and connects deeply with their audience.

I’m all about creating one-of-a-kind brand identities. I focus on understanding the heart of each business and reflecting it through thoughtful, tailored design solutions. This approach helps my clients stand out and resonate with their ideal audience, fostering trust and engagement.

A key aspect of my work is the holistic approach. I go beyond aesthetics to make sure that every design element aligns with the client’s vision and values. This method has led to meaningful, lasting collaborations and has been instrumental in the growth and success of the brands I work with.

I’m excited about expanding my offerings and exploring new ways to empower business owners of all kinds through design.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three key elements that come to mind are empathy, continuous learning, and adaptability.

Empathy has been essential in truly understanding and connecting with my clients’ stories, which is vital for creating resonant designs. Listen to others, understand different perspectives, and apply this insight in your work.

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in not only design but also business, marketing, etc. is another critical factor. Continuous learning keeps your ideas relevant and innovative. I recommend constantly seeking new knowledge and skills through reading, workshops, and experimentation. Or watching TikToks (my guilty pleasure!)

Adaptability is also important. Being able to adjust to changing situations and client needs can lead to more creative and effective solutions. For those starting out, being flexible and open to feedback is key to growth and success.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who operates in the wellness or coaching industry and has a profound commitment to authenticity and positive impact. They are typically professionals who value intentionality and seek to establish a genuine connection with their audience. My clients are often looking for more than just a visual brand; they desire a partnership that helps them express their unique story and ethos. They appreciate the tailored approach I take in creating brand identities, and are ready to engage in a collaborative, thoughtful process that deeply explores and reflects their personal and business values.
