Meet Tarah Loera

We recently connected with Tarah Loera and have shared our conversation below.

Tarah , so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
You just have to believe in yourself and know your value. Haters are your biggest fans and motivator’s. Means you’re doing something right. You cant sweat the small stuff and let it bring you down. I always say block, ignore and keep pushing forward. Focus on yourself and I have always been my own motivation.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I do a bit of everything thing. I am a ghost writer for BMI this has been an amazing experience to write for known artist and books. I am a small business owner in permanent makeup, lip fillers and an online shop. Created my own lip line a few years back, wanted something that would be residual income. I also work as a food and beverage manager for Caesar’s I been doing it for years and really enjoy my teams. And for lastly I do special events on the side as in tv shows, concerts, award shows, meet in greets and red carpets this one has been so fun with the amazing people I have been able to work with and build relationships that turn into friendships.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
As a ghost song writer I would say don’t be scared to write when it comes to you write it down. Don’t let the creativeness pass you by. I do my best when I am going through an experience, past or remembering a certain feeling. As a small business owner you don’t know if you don’t try. There’s nothing like having something to call your own and build that.
As in the events, get out there and network. Start meeting people, one thing takes you to another. Take that job you never know where it will land you. I took a marketing job and it got me to where I was. And applied to be president of a fan club. I never would have thought I still be doing it and enjoying it.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking to network and partner up. That’s the only time I am socialble funny to say. In this business you have to get out and meet people go get the gigs and contracts. Who would I love to collaborate anyone that is hard working and wants to succeed. It doesn’t have to be someone known. Just someone who wants the opportunity to grown and continue to learn. Growth is everything.
