Meet Shreena Shah

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shreena Shah a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Shreena, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my upbringing and values instilled by my family and mentors. I believe in putting in diligent effort and striving for excellence in everything I do.

I also get my work ethic from my passion for baking and the joy of creating sweet treats that bring people together. Growing up, I watched my grandmother, mother and aunt pour love and attention into every batch of baking they made, and I learned from them that hard work and dedication result in unforgettable flavors and memories. Now, I strive to carry on that tradition and make every dessert a labor of love.”

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a child i always wanted to wanted to bake cakes, pastries and other delicacies but not the usual you get around. Coming from an Indian family household I have learnt the Indian delicacies and sweets which gave me the idea to create multiple fusions of the products I currently make. This would enhance taste buds of people who always look forward to something sweet with a twist. People have many functions and look forward to something unique hence my first creation was Dessert shot Glasses, which is Indo western fusion.

We specialize in curating desserts for dessert tables.

We are in the process of launching new exciting desserts and a new line of business too. WATCH OUT THIS SPACE FOR NEW AND EXCITING PRODUCTS!!!!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I believe the three qualities that were most impactful in my journey were curiosity, perseverance, and creativity. Curiosity drove me to experiment and try new things, perseverance helped me through the failures and setbacks, and creativity allowed me to innovate and stand out. My advice to those early in their journey is to cultivate these qualities by taking risks, learning from failures, and continuously seeking out new knowledge and inspiration. Embrace lifelong learning, seek mentorship, and don’t be afraid to think outside the box.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
Ah, I’m definitely not immune to feeling overwhelmed! When it hits me, I take a step back, breathe deeply, and prioritize my tasks. I focus on one thing at a time, breaking it down into smaller, manageable chunks. I also make sure to take breaks, get some fresh air or exercise, and remind myself that it’s okay to ask for help or delegate when needed. My advice to others is to recognize that feeling overwhelmed is normal, but it’s important to take control by setting boundaries, practicing self-care, and seeking support from loved ones or professionals when needed. Remember, taking care of yourself is not a luxury, it’s a necessity!
