We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jacqueline DeLeon. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jacqueline below.
Jacqueline , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
As a digital marketer, creator/influencer, it’s easy to want to compare – & perhaps even easier for others to as well. It’s also the number 1 offender of lack of creativity. I don’t look at what others are doing, or recreate others content. The idea of Bucks County Mama, LLC came from being alone, meditating, looking around, & allowing the space for my own creative downloads to happen. To this day, I still practice this for inspiration. My source of creativity is a stream that never ends, flowing from curiosity, connection to others, & witnessing life. The simplest things can be full of magic, just slow down to see.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
There was a real lack of storytelling in my area on social platforms. Quick reviews, cooperate writing, full pages to be honest. So when I didn’t see what I was looking for, I built it. From an idea to begin a page that was a blog, digital marketing, story telling of local people, places, events, things, all while sharing my own personal life, unfiltered. It took off from there! I work 100% for myself, built a website, platforms, written articles, won awards, became an LLC, and continue to grow all from an idea. I left social work to work for myself, and continue to grow Bucks County Mama, LLC. I have a Podcast and more coming this year!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. You are your brand, back yourself 100% of the time, when things are high or low 2. Trust your gut-we have intuition for a reason, women tend to ignore it, don’t.
3. You are going to make mistakes. And it’s ok, everyone does. You had the courage to try
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always interested in collaborating! I am over 7 years 100% sober, so I don’t collab on anything that involves alcohol or substances – which is also loyalty to my brand as well. I consider my page lifestyle, luxury, & local, and if that fits your brand, I’m always open to collabs.
