Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Prince Kanta. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Prince, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Faith in nature is essential for personal growth and expansion. As long as you live, you can become the confident person you desire. Faith helps eliminate doubts and limiting beliefs about who you are, allowing you to focus on becoming the person you want to be.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Salutations, I’m Prince Kanta, and I was born in Burundi. My mother decided to move our family to United States when I was 11 years old in an effort to create a better future. I’ve been passionate about modeling ever since. My main goal is to inspire the people in my generation to be different and succeed. My passion for fashion has helped me grow into the man I am today. while supporting me in getting through difficult moments on my journey. My self-assurance has given me the strength to carry on with my modeling career.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Do your research
When you enter the modeling industry — whether for the first time or the tenth time know the rules of the game you’re playing. Read up on salary expectations, trends in the industry, and any certification programs related to the job skills you’ll need. Whether in an interview, salary negotiation, or networking event, job seekers will want to stay relevant and informed.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
I would like to think that my parents instilled honesty in me. that I ought to be truthful at all times and never withhold anything from them. They instilled in me the value of hygiene as well as the necessity and organization of my tasks. And I should love and respect everyone, regardless of their differences, and I shouldn’t cheat on them.
