Meet Tany B

We were lucky to catch up with Tany B recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tany, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I developed my confidence and self-esteem by prioritizing my integrity and not worrying about others’ opinions. Being aware of the person they might perceive me to be, I focused on maintaining a genuine and honest demeanor. This mindset allowed those around me to recognize my authenticity, understanding that my confidence doesn’t equate to cockiness. The clarity in communication about my intentions positively influenced my relationships and interactions with others.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am currently engaged in the dynamic field of marketing, where I am continuously expanding my knowledge base. The multifaceted nature of marketing is truly intriguing, as its relevance transcends across all industries, making it an indispensable tool for businesses of every nature. In the pursuit of professional growth, one of my primary objectives for the year is to establish and elevate my presence on YouTube. Additionally, I am working towards launching multiple ventures with the aim of providing valuable assistance to others in diverse capacities.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reflecting on my journey, integrity, honesty, and self awareness were the three fundamental pillars that had a significant impact. For those early in their journey, my advice is to trust yourself and uphold what’s right. Consider every action as if it were under divine observation – what would you do? Embrace each day with integrity, and you’ll find that everything else falls into place seamlessly.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book that significantly contributed to my development is Tyrese’s “How to Get Out of Your Own Way.” Within its pages, I discovered several invaluable nuggets of wisdom that left a lasting impact on me. Tyrese Gibson’s book, “How to Get Out of Your Own Way,” delves into personal development and self-improvement. The book explores various aspects of overcoming obstacles, both internal and external, that hinder personal growth. Tyrese shares his insights, experiences, and advice on breaking through self-imposed limitations, fostering a positive mindset, and achieving success in life. It combines motivational anecdotes with practical strategies to inspire readers to navigate challenges and reach their full potential.
