Meet Tristan Gutner

We were lucky to catch up with Tristan Gutner recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tristan, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I think life leaves clues that we are supported to thrive, that things are designed to ultimately work in our favor. If you look at nature, it thrives when left untouched by humans. Each life form is given what it needs to thrive in it’s environment. It will grow and live, given everything it needs to do “so”, until it’s killed or dies. And then even in death it feeds life: it’s “death” will feed another form of life, or it will decompose and feed the soil that supports more life.

Even the Universe itself its constantly expanding. I look around at life and see that its very nature is to grow and express itself, and to provide the way for all forms of life to do that.

Things are designed to work out.

So when I start to experience doubt or fear about whether something is going to work I look at nature. I try to get out of my mind and look at the clues life leaves us.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
What I do and what inspires what I do is pretty simple:

I believe we’re all here to contribute in a way that is both totally unique to us and massively important to life as a whole. Life is not complete without our unique contribution.

I also believe that we deserve more happiness, ease, inspiration, and abundance than we’re currently experiencing.

So people bring me into their lives and businesses to help them dramatically and quickly improve their results from the inside out.

Whatever it is someone truly wants personally and professionally, I help them attain that by changing how they think.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’m going to go with only one here because it’s foundational to everything else:

Self awareness.

Our mindset creates our results. We think a certain way, that dictates the actions we take, which produces our results.

To create new results we have to understand how our thinking is creating our current results, and then see what would have to change in our thinking to improve our results.

My best advice for working on your self awareness and mindset is to bring in a mentor to help you see your blindspots and make changes quickly. It’s a much slower, more difficult road going at it alone.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
Working With The Law by Raymond Holliwell.

This book has been invaluable for me over the past 8 years. It does an incredible job illustrating how our mindset determines our circumstances, and gives very powerful, practical advice that anyone can use to really become the architect of the life you want.
