We were lucky to catch up with Shereena Delgado recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Shereena, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
What makes me resilient and where I get it from is from my grandmother. Growing up, she had to take me in as a baby in her older age back in Honduras, La Ceiba. I saw her work so hard and pave the way for us to create a meaningful life with purpose. Her strength and determination in the face of challenges have been a constant source of inspiration for me, and I have learned so much from her example. She taught me the value of perseverance, the importance of maintaining hope in difficult times, and the power of resilience in overcoming adversity. I am truly grateful for the lessons she has imparted to me, and I carry her spirit with me as a source of strength in navigating life’s obstacles.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am passionate about helping models find their true confidence in themselves and in their modeling careers. Through my Catwalk and Confidence Model Club, I strive to empower aspiring models by providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed both on and off the runway.
What sets our club apart is our focus on building not only the external skills needed for a successful modeling career, but also the internal confidence that is essential for long-term success. We work with models to develop their runway walk, poise, and presence, while simultaneously nurturing their inner confidence and self-assurance.
In addition to our catwalk training and confidence-building sessions, we have recently introduced a book club to our program. As part of this initiative, models enrolled in our club receive a free copy of our Self Assurance Workbook, which is also available for purchase. This workbook is designed to help individuals develop a strong sense of self-assurance and inner confidence, providing valuable insights and exercises to support personal growth and development.
I believe that the combination of external poise and internal confidence is what sets exceptional models apart, and I am dedicated to guiding and supporting aspiring models on their journey to success.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge in my journey were resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning. My advice for those early in their journey is to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, remain open to change, and prioritize learning and skill development to stay ahead in their field.
How would you describe your ideal client?
As a professional in the fashion and modeling industry, my ideal client is someone who is committed, open-minded, and eager to learn and grow. I value clients who are dedicated to their craft, receptive to feedback, and willing to collaborate to achieve outstanding results.
