Meet Cuban Diva

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cuban Diva. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Cuban , you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
I treat people they way I want to be treated. That applies to anyone. My generosity comes from within.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Cuban Diva is my stage name. I am a Cuban American singer, song writer and do some acting aswell based out of Houston, TX. I’m known for my fusion of Latin, pop and R&B music, as well as my charismatic and energetic performances. I have released several singles including La Culpa which is my most recent. Filmed the music video in Phoenix, AZ. It’s gained popularity on all social media platforms. I’m an advocate for social causes, such as environmental awareness, domestic violence awareness, and women empowerment. I have collaborated with other artists and I am currently working with new ones. I am also currently working on a new project this year with different genres of music. I will be releasing my EP. I have been in the music industry for many years. I have been performing since 2013 but, I have been singing since I held my first microphone back when I was a toddler. I do come from a musically inclined family. My father was a well known singer in Las Vegas which is where I was born. I know my passion for music and the culture shows and I just hope to inspire others with my talent and the message I bring. I am not just an artist, I am also a spokeswoman for Paxton Law Firm. He has been practicing law since 1997. I love what I do for them and love to help put others in good hands. I am in all their TV and radio commercials and even created my own jingle for them. I am also the only female co-host for our podcast called “The Hip Hop Live Show.” Here is where we showcase people’s talent, but we hand pick those to be on our show. We go live on all social media platforms and the viewers are our audience from all over the world. Check us out every other Wednesday night at 8PM CST. I truly enjoy what I do and I can’t wait to show you what we have coming up. I have a lot of people who support me in all I do and I’m forever grateful  🥲💗

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The best advice I can give anyone trying to pursue a dream or career is to stay consistent. To keep their eye on the prize and to always make time for what they truly want out of life. Balance life but, always make time for what you always dreamed to be.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

The biggest obstacle I am currently facing has been choosing the right people to collaborate with. I am being really selective with those I am considering this year. Last year, I can say I didn’t make the best choice, but this year will be different. You need dependable people in your corner that aren’t self centered and that’s what I’m observing.. I am taking 10 steps back to analyze the next person I collaborate with.
Thank you for having me. 🙏
