Meet Arleta Mykolyk

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Arleta Mykolyk a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Arleta, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Growing up I was extremely shy and lacked confidence. Speaking in front of people or just to new people would bring on anxiety . Today, I teach clinics across Canada and US to operate medical esthetic devices , Slimwave and Celluskin. I never would have imaged myself in that position, taking control of a room and leading a training course. I owe a lot of my self confidence and self esteem to my early days as a Slimwave practitioner , because it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and connect with many different people . I quickly realized, that personal growth and confidence happens out of your comfort zone. I made it point from then on to challenge myself on a personal and professional level. Each challenge embraced gives us an opportunity build our confidence and learn about our true powers and capabilities.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
For over 10 years, I have had the pleasure to treat hundreds of women helping them feel better in their skin with Slimwave , non invasive body sculpting technology and Celluskin, cellulite reduction and skin tightening treatments. I am proud that I also have the opportunity to teach medical spa and small business to do the same and empower women across Canada to love and feel great about their bodies.

I am very excited about this next phase in my professional career that brought be to Florida. Our companies are expanding to the US market and I have the great opportunity to be the US presence for Slimwave and Celluskin devices. I am honored to educate and share with women and clinics the amazing benefits and results that come from these treatments . We are now working very hard to have these treatments available to all women across North America.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
There are no failures, only learning opportunities. As a young professional, sometimes we look as things as a win or loss, black or white not gray but the truth is the gray that we learn the most about ourselves and how to better do business. Take every experience with a learning opportunity.

Never stop learning and improving. Working on yourself personally is the greatest gift to yourself and to others.

Learn to read your surroundings and stay in a circle that truly supports you and cheers you on. People that support you will elevate you. In pursuit of success, you need to have a strong and clear mindset and can’t allow anyone to take that away from you.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
As we pursue expansion to the US market , with Slimwave body sculpting technology and Celluskin skin tightening and cellulite reduction technology. We are constantly looking for clinics and medspas that want empower women and offer them non invasive solutions for their body sculpting needs. Our mission is to deliver safe, effective and affordable treatments to all women.
