MR., thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I was always told that if you don’t have anybody hating on you or doubting you, you must not be doing something right lol

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m an underground recording artist from Tupelo Mississippi known as MR. LPD. I’ve also been seen on television shows such as Little Women of Atlanta, P-Valley and HBO’s OUTSIDERS to name a few.
I’ve been working behind the scenes of the entertainment industry for a number of year’s. In 2005 i started doing marketing and promotions and providing record breaking services with So So Def Dj’s.
I was the very 1st person to receive a cd copy of Young Jeezys 1st breakout record and place it on a chopped and slowed down mixtape. I helped BIG K.R.I.T get his first big show in Atlanta month’s before his deal. My resume is long jaccckkk!!!! Lol

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I mean really just having knowledge of the music biz. Having LOVE for the entertainment industry.
And a mean asssssss HUSTLE!!!!!
And I’ll tell anybody, slow feet don’t eat. If you don’t get out and grind for it you probably won’t get it. It’s gonna take some Hustle, some Faith and tough skin if you wanna WIN!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I mean if somebody tryna get down with me on some solid business cool. But they are going to have to come correct cause i can smell bullshit miles away. And they gots to make it make sense… And as i was told by an O.G. “IF IT DON’T MAKE DOLLARS IT DON’T MAKE SENSE”
