Meet Christine Campbell Rapin

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Christine Campbell Rapin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Christine below.

Hi Christine, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re very focused on here – improving our ability to make decisions. Everyday, we’re faced with decisions that can impact the future of our careers, businesses, relationships and more and so one of the most impactful areas for personal development, in our view, is decision-making. Can you talk to us about how you developed or improved your decision-making skills?
One of the most important mentors I’ve had the privilege to guide me in life and business is my Father.

He has taught me that the world needs leaders and that if I wanted to become one, it would be up to me to determine which kind of leader I wanted to be.

Leaders create value by being able to:

  1. Gather the facts.
    2. Interpret the facts.
    3. Make decisions and take action based on what the facts tell us even when the decision may involve challenges.

At each level of leadership, the crowd gets smaller as the personal risks and consequences get bigger.

You must choose to become a leader and have the courage to make decisions and follow through with action.

Leadership is not a popularity contest. It is a chosen responsibility that each of us must decide to take on daily.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a business mentor and strategic advisor, I thinking partner that helps fellow business owners to translate their business dreams into reality without working 24/7.

I bring my 25+ years expertise in helping more than 400 businesses to create a combined revenue of over $1B to the table and use it to help business owners learn to create their own Client Growth Engine.

We build effective marketing and sales strategies on the 3 non-negotiable business foundations that every business needs in order to thrive in every economic climate including:

  1. The ability to build an audience of buyers.
    2. Knowing how to master the marketing message so that you can consistently and predictably move potential clients from curious to paid clients in a condensed period of time.
    3. Effectively create and make offers that are highly valued by the ideal potential client which leads to high client conversion rates.

I’m passionate that we need more small businesses to thrive.

As business owners, we are leaders. It is our shared responsibility to create more leaders and to be the change we want to see in the world.

I believe that business growth CAN be elegantly simple when you know what to focus on, who to offer it to, and how to position yourself as the must hire choice in the marketplace.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
As a successful business owner today, I credit 3 key attributes and skills that I have developed and continue to hone today.

The first is to harness and cultivate curiosity. It is the one skill that cannot be taught, and is the skill that all entrepreneurs must have in order to create success. Curiosity spurs movement and this is the key to building momentum. My curiosity has lead me to personally working in 9 unrelated industries in my career and effectively lead in multiple job functions from marketing to sales to operations all while influencing people and creating profitable outcomes for organizations around the world from startups to big businesses.

The second is to realize that we are all works in progress. Understanding what value you bring to each day and understanding there is so much still to learn is a strength. None of us have all the answers from day one, none of us can do it 100% on our own, none of us are perfect or can predict the future. Focus on evolving and growing every day. I’ve learned that every step is part of the journey to creating our living legacy and making impact as business owners.

The third is to study the art and science of business if you want to create a thriving business that is a positive force of change for the community you serve. To become an effective business owner, we must understand all the pieces that are interconnected in order to see longevity and profit in our business endeavors. Leadership is both a choice and a responsibility and the most importance lesson of leadership I know is to always remember to show up as a human being – as people do business with people they know, like and trust.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Collaboration is essential and what lights my fire about being a business owner. By coming together we can create more impact than we ever could on our own and right now what the world needs most in my opinion is connection.

I’m looking for business leaders who are walking their talk and have a strong desire to help other business owners succeed.

Visionaries who are willing to talk about the elephant in the room as they see it while stepping up to educate and mentor those struggling on how to create a roadmap to predictable success.

Each year I host 1-2 virtual summits that help business owners to learn to attract more clients and thereby create more positive change in the world.

I’m looking for business owners that are speakers who would be interested in sharing their knowledge on my platform and will actively promote the event to expand our impact through collaboration.
