Meet Breeze Arce

We recently connected with Breeze Arce and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Breeze, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Finding your purpose is an interesting concept, in a world full of action I feel your purpose finds you…In my life, I never truly felt a place I could belong like I always had to tighten up in some way assimilating to the larger vibration. At the same time, I found pleasure in my own expression allowing myself to be free in every form. This one action inspires others to do the same and feel at home in such a beautiful way. My purpose is to connect with deeper parts of myself, with other people, and cultivating community through authenticity.

Entering college from an urban city to a PWI framed a narrative of imposter syndrome especially following my dreams Majoring in Media Studies and Minoring in Film. Through my films, I connect people by bringing their problems to the forefront in a visual appealing way. When I cultivated an adaptation of the Trifecta’s spoken word series, The Three P’s it became a film with visuals, storyline, and plot that depicted the maltreatment affecting primarily the BIPOC communities in the United States.

Through another lens, my curating, poetry, short stories, photography, and paintings feel as though it connects pieces of myself to the pieces of others unseen. I hope my vulnerability inspires freedom within you on a level so deep. it fills you endlessly without question.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Growing up I would jump interests very quickly, although in this season I feel drawn to visual arts and community feeling seen does wonders for the spirit. It only takes feeling safe with one person to become a functioning adult, my goal is to be someone’s safe space whether I provide an experience or a handmade product.. I’ve re-branded myself as Breeze on social media for a transition into flexibility for my brand.

By transition to visual photography, I’ll be providing my hair and skincare products along with a personalized playlist for all my photoshoots. My company The Natural Devee creates all natural, vegan body butter, scrubs, roll-on scents, and room spray. The main way to get in contact with me regarding photography or wellness products, would be to fill out an intake form in my instagram bio (@_ethereal_eyez) or emailing me at [email protected].

In addition, I curate an event series called Poetry and Pose providing a space for artistic and fashionable expression merging both modeling as well as audible arts. In the latest installment from September 2023, the featured guest was MUMA (IG: must.co) a CT based photographer and creative director taking portraits of patrons with a hand selected playlist that encapsulated the autumn vibrations. I will share both my Behind-The Scenes snippets and MUMA’s flawless portraits. All photos with the green backdrop are all within the MUMAVERSE, enjoy.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Throughout my journey so far, the most impactful areas of knowledge have been finding comfort in uncertainty, understanding the Universe is mental, and acknowledging that life is a series of choices. What you think you’ll become, taking control in ways that foster healthy change maneuvers mountains with faith.

For those early in your journey, silence the noise internally and externally through communion with your guides, self, or higher power. Only in the silence will you hear the light. Remember you are your best friend, hold yourself accountable and set boundaries.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Personally, I love finding little nuggets of wisdom in every book so I will share three impactful books for me.

The first is the book Beloved by Toni Morrison, the concept of re-integrating agency over your body along with love so strong it crosses lines.of life and death. Toni does an impeccable job of bringing the reader into such a vulnerable space. I aspire to cultivate such a divine place for everyone to connect beyond flesh.

Another book is Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, the quote is “There are years that ask questions and years that answer”. When you’re open to the language of the world, you’ll receive and understand your purpose not within others opinions only inside your soul.

Lastly, The Alchemist taught me that every person cultivates their own journey or destiny with every opportunity, I embody the alchemist by transmuting experiences, frequencies, and choices to illuminate what’s meant for me.
