My approach to work is characterized by unwavering dedication, loyalty, and a strong commitment to achieving goals. I come from a lineage of accomplished entrepreneurs, and I’ve inherited a deep sense of professionalism directly from my revered parents. My father exemplified dependability by faithfully serving the same employer for four decades.
I deeply admired my mother’s tenacity, especially in her specialized venture of baking and selling cakes. Even during periods of slow business, her remarkable resilience spoke volumes about her dedication and determination.

Hello, my name is Dana Lewis, I am the owner of DC Dazzling Yard Signs! I excel in crafting distinctive yard card designs tailored for all your celebratory events. DC Dazzling Signs is adept at creating vibrant and impactful displays that can leave a lasting impression, perfect for promoting or commemorating any occasion.
Our offerings extend beyond birthday signs; we also specialize in crafting signs for various occasions such as baby showers, grand openings, teacher appreciations, proms, graduations, and more.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Be prepared to put in dedicated effort, work extended hours, and handle tasks independently.
Launching a successful business demands hard work and continuous determination. Success won’t happen overnight; it requires persistent effort. Keep trying, and don’t be afraid to try again until you achieve your goals.
2. Develop a well-thought-out marketing strategy.
Engage in ongoing marketing and networking efforts. Identify the most effective strategies for your business. Consistently capture photos and videos, sharing them on social media. Ensure that everyone you interact with, including your bank, grocery store, beautician, mechanic, and others, is aware of your business.
3. Deliver service with a high level of professionalism and customer care.
Effective customer service establishes a connection, fosters trust, and contributes to customer retention.
