Blakeli , we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
Since being a spa owner and esthetician, self-care is extremely important to me! I love a good barre workout class and reading a book, but you can truly never go wrong with an amazing Glo2Facial or massage at Bloom!
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am an esthetician and have been for the past 8 years, as well as the owner of Bloom Spa! I have absolutely found the best career because I get to meet some amazing people everyday and have grown to love my clients like they are my family. No career is perfect, but I truly believe I’ve got one of the best! Here at Bloom Spa, we offer every service from head to toe! We wanted to make sure to have a spa where you come all to one place for any and all services you can think of! We recently partnered with Southern Surgical Arts Beauty Bar to offer our clients the best Botox and filler experience with Chassidy and we now have an infusion company inside Bloom that offers a variety of different IV drips and injections to keep our clients at their best!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I have always been independent, headstrong, and determined and I believe if I didn’t have those qualities I would have never made it to where we are now! Starting a business being a young, nineteen year old woman was very challenging at times because no one takes you serious! It all pays off in the end, you just have to keep going and never take your eyes off of your dream!

We love to host open houses and collaborate with other small businesses to help everyone grow! We have worked with several boutiques, permanent jewelry, candle making companies and tattoos artists! We are open minded about new ideas as well!
