Meet Christopher Williams

We were lucky to catch up with Christopher Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Christopher, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I was just raised this way. Not every “no” is meant to stop you, sometimes they’re meant to grow you. It’s not always about the words, but the message behind the words. I was tought that we all have a purpose, something that only us as individuals can accomplish. If that’s the case, then life is about achieving that purpose. How can you fail if you’re destined to win, right? With the pursuit, you’re going to face some hard trials but these things come to grow you, not stop you. My mentality is always about what I can learn from a trial or tribulation and what am I meant to take from the situation. After I figure it out, I add it to my life toolbox and keep going.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Christopher Williams. I have many titles but I’m mostly known as a Creator.

I help people create businesses, I create purposeful jewelry and I help create spiritually healthy lifestyles for others. I own Luxury Goods LLC, which is under the umbrella of Williams Conglomerate. This is my vehicle to make the above mentioned things happen for others. Luxury Goods , on the surface, creates handmade bespoke gemstone jewelry. The truth is that Luxury Goods is alot more than that; it is redefining what it means to live a Luxury lifestyle from the inside out. I educate people about natural gemstones and how they can contribute to helping create a healthier life. This helps to re shape people’s definition of quality customer service. From here, I normally end up talking to them about their goals and visions. Coaching and business collaborations normally accompany most of these in-depth interactions.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say that being adaptable, coachable and a knowledge of customer service has helped me along the way, but before all of this you have to know yourself. When you’re willing to learn who you are, you’re able to know who you’re not. Once I was willing to go deep within, I unlocked everything else. This doesn’t mean that things get easy, it just means that the path gets more clear.

We’ve all got limited resources, time, energy, focus etc – so if you had to choose between going all in on your strengths or working on areas where you aren’t as strong, what would you choose?
My answer to this one would’ve been different when I was a freshman in college, but life has a way of growing you. I definitely think that you should cater to your strengths more than you invest in your weaknesses. This is not to say that your shouldn’t improve yourself, but we have to remember that no one can be good at all things. The things that you are naturally gifted at, your strengths, will open doors for you that no one can close. Once you are on your way, then yes, take your time to grow in other areas. I remember that I wanted to learn more about money and finances around the beginning of covid. That was my goal. Ironically it was my strengths in understanding and relating to people that got me in the places to have the conversations that grew me in this area of development. People took me under their wing because I had great interpersonal and people skills. I guess the irony is that it is our strengths that will put us in a place to strengthen our weaknesses.
