Hi Joseph, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence in your legal field?
Volunteering at various courthouses has been instrumental in fostering my growth as a mediator, allowing me to develop my confidence in this role. In particular, handling pretrial cases has played a pivotal role in shaping the skills I possess today.

Hi, I am Joseph George, a distinguished entrepreneur known for my exceptional intelligence, perceptiveness, and innovative mindset. As an independent, full Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator, Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, business negotiator, and certified and trained hostage negotiator, I am devoted to ensuring that parties involved in disputes receive fair and efficient proceedings.
As a masterful mediator, I skillfully guide parties towards mutually agreeable settlements, drawing upon my extensive experience and knowledge. My background in contract negotiations and crisis management further distinguishes me as an exceptional mediator and arbitrator.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Throughout my path towards becoming a proficient alternative dispute resolution specialist, I attribute a significant part of my success to two key skills: active listening and strategic thinking. These skills continue to play a vital role in my professional endeavors. Additionally, branding has proven to be another essential skill in the ADR field. It is crucial to establish a strong personal brand and effectively convey the values and principles that define who you are. To newcomers entering this field, I always emphasize the importance of investing in oneself, becoming the storyteller of their brand, and disregarding the negative opinions of naysayers.
