Meet Angel Yvonne

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Angel Yvonne. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Angel , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
There are a lot of strong women in my family and they were my first examples, even though growing up I was a shy and quiet kid, they showed me what strength looked like. I think the more I experienced adversity in my life, the more it  made me want to work harder.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a film and television actress and a proud member of Sag-Aftra. I also am a painter, specializing in portraits and abstraction and last but not least I am a realtor. I love to create and help people and I am very humbled to be able to have the opportunity to do that in these fields. I am currently writing and starring in a new film and have a few other creative projects lined up that I will be looking forward to sharing very soon.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Creative thinking, resilience and faith. I would say to people who are early in their journey is to continue to put one foot forward and don’t stop moving until you get to where you want to be and keep God at the center.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents were both very hard workers, my dad is a veteran and he also managed a steel mill for several years. My mom has been a registered nurse educator for over two decades, they showed me what a great work ethic looked like and more importantly they loved and supported my dreams.
