Meet Analeia Bella Madden

We recently connected with Analeia Bella Madden and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Analeia Bella, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Aw! Wow I like this question. I have known my purpose of creating art ever since I could remember. My mom was an oil painter and my dad is an electronic music producer and they encapsulated me in that world. From towering canvases of angelic women and downtempo electronica to mud pies, peacocks and fairies, the foundation was set. It has never felt like I was ever meant to do anything else.

When I was a teenager, i was told artists don’t make money, but I never stopped believing that was my path. In an attempt to find an art-form that might make more money, I went to fashion design school. That opened up a whole new world for me and made me realize that while I want to pursue fashion design, my purpose is not just fashion. it is creating art in general. Art that will add more whimsy to life, and hopefully inspire people.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hiii! I’m Analeia Bella!!! I am a fashion designer and illustrator! I am starting my artistic career selling clothes and art that I make 🙂 *Think Alice in Wonderland x Streetwear x Renaissance* Sustaining fantasy and fun in the world through fashion keeps life colorful and I am inspired to have a part in that. Sprinkles of whimsy here and there for happiness!!

Expected of me are clean lines, tailored cuts, and unexpected twists, infusing classic styles with a touch of avant-garde flair. My speciality is anime influenced, doll-like dresses with bright baby colors <3
But there are lots of ideas in store to come to fruition, unisex pieces included.

Website is launched! I have my first little drop on there ready for sale! (Limited edition). New pieces coming soon!!!! I will be doing made-to-order pieces as well:). Www.analeia,com hehe yay.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My charisma, drive and love I have for art and design gives me a unique perspective. I have always had these qualities but have been learning how important they really are. They lead to self confidence and learning how to channel that when speaking to yourself and others has an enormous advantage in how you see and navigate the world.

Advice I have if any is to make sure you love what you’re doing. It will show through your work!! Put yourself out there to learn new things and meet people. It may take you somewhere you would have never thought of!

This is advice for myself too- Post your work even if you don’t think it is the best, there will always be more ideas and people like to see the growth and progression.

Keep the joy of creating alive through all this craziness in the world!

Remember that you can do anything you put your mind to!!!!

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
I am good at not knowing wether to turn left or right so I pace around for hours which peaks my anxiety. So, I am resolving this by centering myself when I get scrambled. If I get stuck on one piece for too long, take a break and work on something else. Sometimes an idea may not work out, and that is ok, but it is best for my sanity to let it go, maybe revisit it in a different light later.
I need to make sure what I am doing is line with my business goals and I can’t spend too much time working on one thing that may not work. More ideas the better!
I just have to keep carrying on, keep creating, keep learning and stay positive!!! <3
