Hi Wavess, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
The biggest risk is not taking risks! Life is a gamble you just have to play your cards right. You win some , you loose some; but you live, you live to fight another day (Pops from Friday) I want to say in life “I remember when I did that” instead of saying “oh man! I wish I did that” how do you know if you’re playing the game right if you aren’t playing at all. Now a days you’re taking a risk and don’t even know it, it’s a risk even stepping out your front door, getting behind the wheel of your car or even crossing the street. Look at that, you’re already taking risks why not take a few more. Ones with purpose! It’s okay to loose it gives you another chance to win.
I remember the first time I was about to perform on stage, everyone I expected to be there wasn’t there! That’s okay ! I had to take a risk, it was a make or break decision, so I stepped out on faith, took a risk and rocked that stage and won first place! Now what would have happened if I didn’t take that risk, I would have never won!
They say there is nothing to fear but fear itself, the best risk you can take it any risk at all. So why not, take a risk !

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Zay but I go by Wavess Da Artist! I am originally from Delaware but I reside in Atlanta & Miami!
I am NOT a musician I am a mogul (Sukihana)
Recoding artists, performer, comedian, tv personality and entrepreneur!
I am slowing but surely expanding my brand and will be stepping into a lot more business in 2024.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Confidence, knowledge and respect!
The advice I can give is we respect those who respect themselves. Don’t let anyone take your shine or dim your light.
You are gonna be your own worst critic but that’s okay, cause you know what’s best for yourself or your brand.
Do you ! Don’t try to fit into anyone box. Save that for when they put you 6 feet under!
What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
I can say right now my biggest challenge is myself!
I keep thinking am i good enough will I ever be good enough, will I make it.
& I tell myself every time – YES
