Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Olga B.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Olga, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose has always been of great importance to me. In fact, I spent decades of my life actively trying to figure out what my purpose was. A quote by Oprah Winfrey resonates deeply with me: “The work of your life is to discover your purpose and get on with the business of living it out.” And yet, numerous classes, workshops, books, and videos later, I still felt like I was at square one, not knowing WHY I am here, how I can contribute, and how to make a living with all my creative ideas and endeavors.

At the end of the day, though, I have come to the conclusion that one’s purpose is usually not a “single thing” you do with your life (although it can be for some). More often, your purpose will evolve along with what you’ve learned and feel compelled to try. This is especially true if you’re a “multipotentialite” with many different interests and ideas that keep evolving over time. In a way, our purpose is a summation of everything we’ve learned, our natural inclinations, talents, and abilities, and figuring out how we can serve others using our knowledge and experience.

The funny thing is—once I accepted the fact that I may never truly know what my “purpose” is and removed the importance of having to figure it out, that’s when it naturally took over my life over time. I was simply following the “breadcrumbs” of excitement and curiosity, and that’s what has led me to start my own business where I get to be creative while using so much of what I have learned over the years about psychology, life coaching/mindset, metaphysics, manifesting, tarot and oracle cards, past life regressions/hypnotherapy, energy healing/reiki, chakras, crystals, and so much more.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am the creator of AskYourSoul.org, a resource for others to learn about manifesting, the power of our minds, and other spiritual/metaphysical and self-help topics. For as long as I can remember, I was fascinated with psychology (I have a BA in Psychology & a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology) and all things metaphysical.

In my twenties, I went through a devastating breakup with someone I deeply loved, and not long after, I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disorder that completely turned my life upside down. This disorder has negatively affected every aspect of my life, leading me on a long and arduous path of trying to figure out how to heal myself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Along the way, I explored various healing methods and psycho-spiritual tools that became crucial to my recovery and self-discovery. This exploration led me to realize how immensely powerful our thoughts can be, the infinite power of our subconscious mind, and the importance of tuning into our higher self for guidance, a key inspiration behind the name Ask Your Soul. (Another reason for this name is that I started this business when I was studying to become a Past Life Regressionist, and it occurred to me that all we are doing during regressions is asking our soul for answers, which it inevitably has for us.)

Over the years, my fascination with the power of thoughts and conscious reality creation kept growing, especially when I came across Neville Goddard’s teachings on the Law of Assumption and countless Near Death Experience stories that I find inspiring and fascinating. Diving deeper into manifesting made me realize just how powerful we are as conscious reality creators, and that we are often held back by our own limiting beliefs, negative self-concept, and outdated thinking patterns that don’t serve us whatsoever. The thing is, “Reality” is so much more complex than what meets the eye (just think of all the “crazy coincidences” you’ve had in your own life!), but I do believe that our human experience is a co-creation with the divine, and we always have a choice in how to interpret the meaning of our struggles and challenges. Most of the time, we can literally take the same situation and either use it as an excuse to stay unhappy and unfulfilled, or use it as a soul lesson that will propel and inspire us to do something great. Recognizing the potential impact of these insights, I decided to center my content and products around manifesting, spiritual growth, and other metaphysical concepts, with the hope of helping others live a more joyful and purposeful life.

Over the years, my offerings have evolved. In 2020, when I started working on my shop, I was primarily focused on manifesting-related products (both digital and a few physical ones), and I do still offer a variety of products related to spirituality and manifesting, including a Law of Assumption workbook and cards, Neville Goddard quote cards, printable affirmation cards, and more. Nonetheless, in the last couple of years, I have expanded my products to editable Canva templates for fellow creators and coaches in the spiritual/psychological/life-coaching realms, offering them resources to simplify the content creation process and save them hours of work. These templates include editable affirmation, chakra, and crystal meaning cards, tarot & oracle card resources, ebook templates (such as a Shadow Work ebook or a comprehensive Chakra guide), Reiki & hypnotherapy forms, affirmation worksheets, journals, calendars, and other useful templates they can use in their business. As a content creator myself, I know how incredibly time-consuming this process can be, so my hope is to save my customers A LOT of time so they can focus on creating their own unique product and delivering their message in the most efficient way.

Besides the digital products, I occasionally offer “Soul Message” Oracle Card Readings, Manifestation Coaching, and Energy Healing Sessions (I have taken many different energy healing courses over the years, and I am certified in Usui Reiki and Emotion Code). So far, it’s been such a joy to connect with people from all over the world and to be able to help them in my own way. I genuinely care about my clients and customers, and I am really grateful for everything they have taught me on this journey.

I am continually expanding my offerings and plan to introduce affirmation audios soon as well. Given my lifelong passion for music and experience as a singer/songwriter, incorporating vocal recordings feels like a natural next step.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey, I believe the three qualities that were most impactful by far are resilience/persistence, curiosity, and empathy. Resilience/persistence kept me going through the toughest and most depressing times, allowing me to learn from “failures” and persist when I felt like there was no point in keeping going or when I felt no support from anyone around me. Meanwhile, curiosity has been my lifelong friend that I can’t imagine my life without. Curiosity is what has kept me going and what fueled my exploration of various spiritual practices and philosophies, leading me to a deeper understanding of the principles I now use in my work (and my life) on a regular basis. And empathy is what’s at the base of my creations and services. It has enabled me to connect with others on a profound level, understanding their struggles and offering support that resonates with their experiences.

For those who are at the beginning of their journey, my #1 advice is to keep going and follow your dreams one day at a time; to believe that it IS possible to create the life and business you will love! Sure, it’s not always “rainbows and unicorns,” but that’s why it’s important to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, staying open to learning from all sources, and practicing compassion towards yourself and others whenever possible.

Remember that time will pass regardless of what you do, so imagine how far in your dream business you could get years from now if you start taking consistent steps toward it now. Try not to think of it as an enormous undertaking; just take baby steps as often as you possibly can, trust in your dreams and ideas, and be flexible with where they take you. Before you know it, you will have built something truly incredible! 🙂

Another idea I have is to start a podcast on my YouTube channel where I would interview fellow content creators, spiritual practitioners, or anyone interested in exploring the intersection of mindset, spirituality, and manifesting. However, this endeavor might have to wait because of my limited availability (a.k.a. two little, very active kids :)).
