Meet Anthony Mobley Jr.

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Anthony Mobley Jr. a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Anthony with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I would say Mobley Marketing 19 most definitely inherited the hard work ethic from both of my parents. As a child I didn’t realize how expensive extra curricular activities costs, along with yearly vacations as a family seasonal shopping trips, until I became an adult and it gave me a greater appreciation for GOD hand choosing my parents for my sister and I. We were extremely blessed to have both parents show us the importance of having an excellent work ethic, professionalism, and high standards in life and to work for what we want. MM19 KNOWS the work- blood, sweat and tears is delivering a life changing contract for myself and the #ATEAM! GODS PLAN!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Mobley Marketing 19 is a marketing and public relations agency birthed summer of 2019. I work with various businesses that need marketing and advertising for their companies and the public relations team helps artists, athletes, models, and entertainers build their brand and image before introducing clients to major companies MM19 connected with over the years. I recently moved to the west coast a few months ago and connected with some amazing professionals. The MM19 brand can NOT be duplicated, my gift comes from GOD so the magic of MM19 is innovative, unique, and opulent. The new long awaited revamped website for Mobley Marketing 19 will be launching soon! I’m working with an incredible web developer and team located in Miami, Florida who I know will bring my vision to life! World get ready! Finishing the final photoshoots for the website MM19 met several international professionals I will be working with to bring their art to the industry by having MM19 as their marketing and public relations agency. With a strong agency like MM19 ensuring we work with the RIGHT people which equals results! 4 years ago when my business started I was eager to work and took on clients who were not dedicated nor financially ready for the task they set out to accomplish. In the beginning of 2023 I told myself MM19 was NO longer taking financial losses by taking on clients who were not ready in many ways. I am very selective about who my brand MM19 works with or connects with, the 4 years have taught me patience, resilience, and that FAITH in GOD and YOURSELF can move mountains. This is only the beginning for MM19!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
A great quality that MM19 has always had was being likable. I was voted School Vice President my senior year of high school, along with “Most Popular” and “Best Dressed.” One of the main Public Relations skills is being likable. I have been fortunate to be invited to several events over the years held by celebrities across the country. By naturally being a real and genuine person the different entertainers and professionals have showed MM19 love that I will always be grateful for. MM19 always shows love and is in a place of peace, purpose, and prosperity! I’m great at customer service diffusing issues the customer may have by listening to the problem and coming up with a reasonable solution to the issue. MM19 has always been a natural leader, I was raised to never be a follower or try to fit in growing up and as an adult that skill has been extremely valuable in life and in the industry MM19 is apart of. By MM19 being a leader and trendsetter is one of the qualities that sets the MM19 brand apart from other agencies across the globe. Beyoncé Knowles Carter quote “Life is your blueprint they hid that in the fine print, take the pen and rewrite it!” I would encourage the readers and any one I encounter questioning their purpose to search their soul and the answer will be there, it’s a blessing to do what I love for my career! Marketing and Public Relations are apart of MM19 so the creative and innovation is endless! When you discover what your gift and purpose is in life don’t let ANYONE deter you from your path of happiness and success! Only YOU can stop YOU. Step out of your comfort zone and evaluate relationships in your life family and friends- difficult choices may be presented when you realize who is in your corner however know GOD will order your steps when you trust HIM! Winning is a choice! Choose wisely!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful things my parents have done for me is raised a respectable professional black man in a world that sometimes is not as accepting however I don’t need acceptance my gift will clear the room of the ones who don’t wish me well and fill the room with people who can be apart of changing my life. Some of the best advice and help I’ve gotten outside of my parents came from strangers. God places who you need in your life. Trust your discernment. I was raised to overcome obstacles by trusting GOD and knowing the strength within me. My parents gave my sister and I unconditional love and support from the time GOD gifted my parents with a daughter and son. The ATEAM is a family that is imperfectly perfect. A family that prays together stays together even through difficult situations that arises in life. GOD got US. The shine comes from GOD it’s a “Mobley” thing!
