Meet Rehan Jalali

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rehan Jalali. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rehan below.

Rehan, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
Collin Powell once said that perpetual optimism is a force multiplier. My optimism comes from my father who always looked at the good in everything. It comes from my spirituality and belief in God. It comes from the inner belief that in any situation I either win or learn. There is no failure and no loss. Having an optimistic perspective is a life altering attitude. It’s critical to success.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
In my experience, The three most important skills in life are networking/social intelligence, knowledge/ability to learn, and consistent Persistence. Winston Churchill said “success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It’s the courage to continue that counts.” If you are early in your journey, the key is to gain as much knowledge and expertise as possible as well as proper networking! It really is about who you know. Always offer value and be an asset when meeting people that can be helpful to you. Don’t let failure stop you. Failure is actually a pre-requisite for maximum success. Ask any successful person!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents taught me to believe in myself. They gave me the inner strength to know that I can achieve anything in life! They gave me confidence and inner power. This strength allowed me to achieve greatness!
