Meet Chynna Monforte

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chynna Monforte. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chynna below.

Chynna, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Developing my confidence and self-esteem has come from a lot of trial and error. Giving myself the permission to be a learner in multiple areas and trying out different forms of art and business just gave me wisdom which in turn creates confidence.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Monforte Studio offers web design and branding services for creative entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, small businesses, non-profit organizations and foundations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Learning how to create a brief, learning client contracts, and getting all services organized on a project management system has been a game changer for the growth of our business.

How would you describe your ideal client?
Our ideal client is a (QTI)BIPOC woman working on her business. She’s been running her business for at least 4 years. The first years of business, she found a lot of success. She has a good number of followers and is likely well-known in entrepreneurial circles. She started her business before the branding boom and didn’t fully understand the power branding could have for her business. While she was figuring it out, she either DIY’d her branding and website, or had someone do it for very little money. That brand she created to start has carried her brand to where it is today, but she is ready to have a brand and/or website that matches the business she’s built. She is committed to investing her money into other BIPOC or Queer-owned businesses. While she is the face of her business, she either has a small team that she trusts deeply, or is still running a one-person show. Either way, she wants to work with people who are experts
in their craft and can help teach and guide her in the things she doesn’t know.
