Meet Diana Steele

We recently connected with Diana Steele and have shared our conversation below.

Diana, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
My Optimism really comes from what I have gone through in my life, specifically childhood. I tried to find the beauty in everything, the small stuff, the silver lining even when I was struggling. I acknowledge that there can be a lot of negative things that were happening but I also tried to find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a psychic medium that began a career in reading tarot at first, just for fun. It was then that my abilities started to deepen ( I’ve been this way since I was a child ) and decided to fully embrace my psychic & mediumship abilities. I started my business during the pandemic and it kind of just grew organically. For the last two years I have been doing my business full time and am completely in love with what I do. I get to help others in so many different ways, through connecting to loved ones, offering guidance & helping those whom are passing away with my end of life doula work. I teach workshops as well, and am currently running a program called The Juniper Coven (I am a folk magick practicing witch as well) and it’s a wonderful space for others to connect , create friendships & learn magical practices. I have also just a launched a service in regards to Death & Griefwork, to help those grieving loss of a person, themselves , etc. Grief affects so many areas of our life and I wanted to offer something that might help others.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three skills that were most impactful for me was to truly listen when people speak to you, being open/honest & really believing in yourself and the work you are doing. Advice on how to improve or develop your psychic gifts would be to be open to any and all possibilities. Were used to logic and logical thinking & reasoning and tapping into your psychic or mediumship abilities goes beyond logic. There are things you can and will do experience that sometimes cannot be explained logically. This is why I always say go into this with an open mind and open heart. Trust that what you are receiving is actually happening, because it is and believe in yourself, I cannot stress that enough. Belief in yourself and what you are experiencing is so important in this line of work. Practice, whether that’s exercises, meditations, finding a mentor to help you, read books, listen to podcasts, anything to get that muscle working.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was foster that I always be myself. I remember a conversation as a kid with my dad, where he said “ You always want to be a leader, not a follower” and it’s always something that really stuck with me into adulthood. Don’t follow someone else, do your own thing and I think that’s why I’ve always followed the beat to my own drum, I didn’t want to be like anyone else , I just wanted to be me. They really instilled that within me and I’m glad they did.
