We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stefany Gittleman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Stefany, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
I have always found that anything can happen in business and so I go into every day with that positive energy. Should you find a career that thrills you, you manage to have an optimistic attitude that every conversation, every encounter, leads you to something or someone else. Optimism has helped me reinvent my brand multiple times.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I have been in media for 2 decades having worked at MTV, Warner Bros., The New York Times, head of Luxury Link and then I started my creative agency – The Gold Maze in 2016. Our brand has always been nimble to the changes that occur within social media and always lead with innovation, edge and the ability to personalize every brand campaign to meet the needs of the company. The Gold Maze is a full service creative agency and we specialize in thoughtful marketing, and short form video content. We have worked with thousands of brands and personas in bringing their brand to life online.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Tenacious. Creative. Thoughtful Risk Taker. First off in business it’s never easy, never a straight line, never without bumps and curve balls. However as an entrepreneur of now 2 different companies, I have always been determined to succeed. I looked for solutions, ways to reinvent when times got tricky and I never gave up. Being creative has opened up many doors for me as I have an edgy way of marketing brands. I think in the mind of the consumer, what would stop me in my tracks… that led in me in life to think about risks that would enhance my career but I was very thoughtful in the moves that I made. My advice to anyone reading this is that there is never a bad opportunity, you just have to think it through and if it makes sense for where you are in your career and life.

I am always looking to collaborate. Brands in the social media space that need help online with their marketing campaigns.
