Hi Crystal, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?
Recognizing a need to realign my self-care, I stumbled upon a game-changer—sound healing, which started as a personal practice listening to videos on YouTube. It started as a way to manage the constant demands of everyday life.

I established a regular practice and found the soothing sounds to be a haven amidst the chaos, leading to tangible changes in my life. It has been a big art of helping me shed 150 pounds, thanks to newfound inspiration for a healthier lifestyle.

Sound healing also became my go-to during emotional challenges. The calming tones and stillness provided a space for reflection, helping me navigate through stress and anxiety. It served as a reliable emotional anchor, offering solace in difficult moments.

My practice helped to see that sound healing was great for regulating my nervous system, acting as a reset button for a sense of balance and composure. This newfound stability translated into a more resilient approach to life’s challenges, both personal and professional.

As the harmonic sounds facilitated a meditative state, my focus sharpened, and productivity soared. Sound healing has become an integral part of my self-care routine, enhancing mental clarity and overall well-being.

After experiencing the benefits, I decided to pursue certification as a sound healing practitioner. The journey became a fulfilling exploration, allowing me to share the powerful impact of sound with others. My story unfolded as a practical tale of self-discovery, transformation, and the simplicity of harmonious notes guiding me to a more balanced and purposeful life.

I am the founder of Natural Wonder Wellness, where I wear multiple hats as a certified sound healing practitioner, holistic weight loss coach, and a designer of healing crystal and copper jewelry. What I find most exciting and special about my work is the ability to empower and guide individuals on their journey towards holistic well-being. Having personally dealt with being overweight most of my life, I bring a unique and personal perspective to weight loss coaching, emphasizing a holistic approach that goes beyond mere physical transformation.

Natural Wonder Wellness is not just a brand; it’s a commitment to helping people navigate life’s challenges through holistic practices. The fusion of sound healing, holistic weight loss coaching, and the creation of healing crystal and copper jewelry allows me to address the mind, body, and spirit, fostering a comprehensive approach to wellness.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In reflecting on my journey, three qualities that have been particularly impactful are resilience, optimism, and a growing secure sense of self. These qualities have not only helped me navigate challenges but also facilitated my personal and professional growth. My advice for those starting their journey is to prioritize bouncing back from failures as quickly as possible. Embrace setbacks as opportunities to learn, adapt, and improve.

In addition to these qualities, continuous learning is key. Stay curious, keep acquiring new skills, and adapt to changes in your journey. Network with others in your field, as their insights can be invaluable. Always, prioritize your well-being through mindfulness, self-care, and maintain a flexible mindset.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
In the past 12 months, my biggest area of growth and improvement has been developing the courage to make a significant career shift. After dedicating 17 years to my full-time job, I took the bold step of transitioning into entrepreneurship. This decision required me to overcome fears, embrace uncertainty, and put my resilience to the test. The experience has not only allowed me to explore and expand my skills in business and leadership but has also provided me with an expanded sense of personal and professional fulfillment. This journey has taught me the importance of embracing change and stepping outside my comfort zone to achieve meaningful growth and follow my dreams.
