Meet Kassiyet Adilkhankyzy

We recently connected with Kassiyet Adilkhankyzy and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kassiyet, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I get resilience from the need to change my life. From the need to change my circumstances. From the need to live a better life, knowing that I deserve much more and it is all in my hands to choose and decide what kind of life I would like to live.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a professional Indian Classical Dancer of KAZAKH origin based in San Jose, California. I have been trained in Indian Classical dance form Bharatanatyam since age 6 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and continued my in-depth training in India.
Dance has been an important part of my life and I am grateful for being able to continue dancing full-time even after moving to the United States.
In 2022 I launched Kassiyet Cosmetics – the world’s first clean cosmetics company inspired by Indian Arts with its headquarters in Sacramento, California.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Hard work
2. Perseverance
3. Dreaming BIG

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My mother believed in me. Believed without any doubts. She has been my constant support and inspiration. I would not have been able to achieve anything without her constant support.
