JaiNishia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I think it’s important to start with your why. What makes you happy? What brings you joy? What makes you stay up hours at night, researching how to stay true to yourself and sustain those feelings towards your purpose? I think that’s the core of it, and then once you figure that out, it’s easy to flow in your purpose with intention each day.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am JaiNishia, the founder and Creative Director of Love and Happiness, Sanctuary, and Savage Finery. Our brands aim to promote sustainability, self-care, and wellness in the lives of our consumers. We create each brand in small batches, using natural ingredients to ensure high quality and effectiveness.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
To be a successful business owner, it’s crucial to pay attention to the small details, stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, and focus on developing high-quality products. Additionally, it’s important to differentiate yourself from competitors and build a strong relationship with your customers by delivering what they want and need.
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
Currently, the most significant challenge for me is venturing into the retail scaling space, which is relatively new to my business. Unfortunately, no one in my immediate community is familiar with this area. So, in the next phase of our business, we’re eager to partner with people or companies that can offer us valuable insights without taking advantage of our small business.
