Meet Antonio (Teezy Mcfly) Bomar

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Antonio (Teezy Mcfly) Bomar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Antonio (Teezy Mcfly), so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self esteem comes from years of self love and understanding myself and accepting my flaws and tendencies. Telling myself there’s only one me, I don’t need to be the loudest in the room to stand out, it’s okay to be myself and I need no explanation for who I am. I fear no one and I give respect when due. Become comfortable in the skin you’re in and understand we all have a purpose and a gift to express ourselves in a special way, just have to find that itch and step out the box.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m a musical artist that gravitates towards Hip-Hop/RnB. I have created multiple projects with just instrumentation and collaborated with some artists to contribute to their projects as well. To be able to crate and make something out of nothing is a beautiful way of tell a story. Also, to tell your story and be relevant to someone’s life is a honor as well. It brings us together as a collective to know we’re all together in this thing called life and we’re all connected. I plan to make a more bigger platform for any artist with a passion/ vision to create and express themselves in any way possible so I’m always willing to collaborate and share ideas and music to help that progress.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three skills I learned from this musical journey would be: consistency, self discipline, preparation

My advice to others about these qualities Is to be consistent on what you love, read, learn and find your drive to keep going. Whether you think it’s time or not keep going and releasing all you can. The effect of self discipline will keep your mind in order and understand things need to be completed and the importance of time and craft. Practice makes perfect and the outcome shows within your ethic. Preparation is vital for creatives only because we all need tools and whatever else to be successful in what we do. Constantly find was to improve and expand for yourself and your vision. Plenty of skills and attributes come into play when it comes time to create, but simply remain focused and have a clear mind. Remember the world is yours and it’s up to you to create that stage.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
When I become overwhelmed I look for other was to create and express myself. Whether it’s to take a walk, grabbing a book, drawing, spending time with loved ones, it’s a way for me to clear my mind and find that outlet. This might take days, weeks ect, but I know the severity of the way I create and manage my thoughts. Find ways to make yourself busy instead of laying in your thoughts. Everyone’s mental battery will eventually need to recharge and you have to find that place to charge, find that happy place and or find that chargeable resource.
