Meet Nathaniel Jenkins

Today, we have the honor of introducing you to Nathaniel Jenkins. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, which we’ve shared below.

Nathaniel, we have so many exciting things to discuss; we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us, and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from.

As a child, having two sisters who were ten and twelve years older than me gifted me autonomy; I spent a lot of time alone, dreaming of my future life. I wanted to travel and have wonderful people in my circle. I found that optimism brought me closer to the things I wanted at an early age. When I wanted something, I would write about it; it worked a few times with a bike and a gaming system. This place in my early childhood brought me closer to an optimistic perspective.

As a child, I had an enormous imagination; it was my guiding light and comfort.

I saw my life as a flower that could blossom into the creation in which I’m currently living and existing. I had two sisters, who were 12- and 14-years years older than myself. It gave me a lot of time to create and imagine what possibilities could lie in front of me. I would spend hours in thought. Palm readers and astrologers have told me, along with my Enneagram type, which is the number seven, that I am a dreamer and can see realities before they exist. I bring this potent power to my practice and to clients who desire and need it.

I appreciate your insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself.

My name is Nathaniel Jenkins, and I have founded Energy Alchemist,

This is the name of a practice that focuses on bringing energy awareness to the MIND, BODY, and SOUL. It shows people how their day-to-day functions of reality when it comes to energy can be, in some ways, very useful to the practices that they are already doing and highlight the things that they may not want to be doing that they are already doing.

For instance, I teach people how their negative beliefs can harm their energetic body and bring their health into a compromised space.

I also facilitate workshops, and in my deep tissue, restorative bodywork one-on-one healing sessions, I bring awareness to the emotional, physical, and energy bodies.

I do Energy Retrieval Healing, where we facilitate the patient and/or client’s going to collect displaced energy that may be trapped in places they had no idea. This results in them doing things and repeating patterns that are not serving their highest good.

I also do some Joy Embodiment Coaching, which brings joy into a person’s life. Sadly, many are not in touch with this energy. It’s something that we all need more of.

Energy Alchemist is stepping into more team-building facilitation in corporate and retreat spaces, and I am giving a Reset Men’s Retreat this summer in Mendocino. The link will follow.

Another facilitator and I have a monthly event called Reiki Breath with Ice at The Center, a tea house in San Francisco. We do sound healing, guided breathwork, movement, and plunging into an ice bath. We also do some group energy healing. This event is a physical and emotional reset button for anyone participating.

If you had to pick the three most important qualities to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Somatic Practice, Energy Embodiment, & Energy Education are three very useful tools that have assisted my healing and allowed me to move through mountains of trauma from childhood verbal abuse.

I strongly advise people in the beginning stages of their healing journey to get curious about their darkness. Find out what harms and has harmed them. This way, they can seek the tools that make it easier to move through these things. Their darkness can be the key to the light that they hold inside.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that has played an essential role in your development?

A book that has played a huge role in my life has been The Four Agreements. It talks about not making assumptions and why this is essential, why not to take things personally, why to be impeccable with your word, and why to always do your best. This book came to me a long time ago, and I’ve learned so much about why these four agreements are the foundation for having less friction in one’s life. I highly recommend it.
