Meet Dr. Ieshia Brown-Lumpkin

We recently connected with Dr. Ieshia Brown-Lumpkin and have shared our conversation below.

Dr. Ieshia , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Confidence and Self-Esteem is a SUPER POWER. They both are about really believing in yourself, having that secure self-esteem and a sense that you can do anything along with assurance. Naturally, women who exude confidence and high self esteem are already comfortable in their own skin and I LOVE some me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am the Founder and Ceo of She-E-o Girl Bosses.

This platform was created for powerful and successful women, providing them an environment, where their achievements and contributions are honored and celebrated. We have set the stage for over 2.4 K influential Women from various industries, creating networking opportunities, and establishing a safe space for collaboration and empowerment to be better entrepreneurs globally.

We curated the highly anticipated annual Red Dress Gala which is another portal for women empowerment engagement. Our attendees of Influencers, corporate leaders, and community advocates help to pave the way and leave a lasting impression for our guest.. This Red Dress Gala is a Testament and Power to the resilience of women in business. We are thrilled to create a space where extraordinary women can connect, impact and inspire and celebrate each others achievements.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My Leadership qualities have always aligned with my journey God have set forth for me to travel. I have a very unique talent of Multi-tasking and leading the way. In any room I access I’m always in some sort of Leadership realm. Being optimistic have also assisted me on this journey with insuring that I have the right team and team members. If everyone hold each other accountable we can continue to close the gaps where needed.
I would advise someone that is just beginning their journey to plan and delegate task to those on your team for whatever roles you deem necessary. You cannot do it alone.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
We are always looking for Women or organizations to partner with. We are piloting our Jr. She-E-o Girl Bosses League and would like to give our teens a Segway into adulthood and provide resources as such as a clothing closet, resume writing, etiquette training etc to assist them with becoming their own bosses.
