We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Paul Fields. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Paul below.
Hi Paul, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My strong work ethic stems from the influence of my parents and my involvement in sports during my childhood and teenage years. Witnessing the dedication of my mother and father instilled in me a drive to strive for excellence from a young age. With sports as a central focus during my formative years, I used this foundation to cultivate a mindset of perseverance and hard work, pursuing my aspirations of becoming a professional athlete. This mentality, coupled with determination and a readiness to surpass physical limitations, has greatly contributed to my success in business.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My drive stems from a deep-rooted passion for innovation and a steadfast dedication to client satisfaction. I am committed to empowering our clients in the action sports industry to elevate their operations and achieve their goals.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Resilience in the face of adversity – never give up, even when times are tough. Perseverance fueled by passion is a formidable force that should be harnessed.
Recognize that there are no limits to enhancing your skill set. Embrace opportunities to learn from others, hone your existing skills, and acquire new ones. Continuous growth is essential for achieving success in business.
Networking is essential in the business world. If socializing isn’t your forte, push yourself to step beyond your comfort zone and cultivate relationships. Remember, the potential benefits far outweigh any discomfort.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
Prioritize the most critical tasks that require immediate attention and focus on completing them first. I focus on tackling each item on my to-do list, moving on to the next one once the previous task is accomplished.
If necessary, minimize distractions by activating focus mode on your phone, creating a quiet work environment, or relocating to a different setting.
I make self-care a priority. For me it’s going to the gym or going on a walk while listening to an empowering audiobook. For you it might be going on a hike, riding your bike, taking a walk on the beach, or playing your favorite sport. Taking time for yourself is essential to release stress and rejuvenate the mind and body.
