Meet Vyolet Blyck

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vyolet Blyck a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Vyolet , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I developed my confidence and self – esteem a few different ways. I decided to embrace myself entirely, the bad the good and the ugly and develop unconditional love for myself. I have said in a few of my youtube videos self love blah blah blah because no on really tells us how to love ourselves. Self love to me is embracing my strengths and weaknesses and that helped me embody confidence in who I am. Another bridge I had to cross was forgiving myself for thinking I could have done better at certain cross roads moments in my life. I remind myself and I remind you to understand that guilt and shame are infinite rabbit holes we can get stuck in and it is best to make peace by knowing that you did the best you could with the information and level of consciousness you were embodying at the time. Letting go of shame and anxiety over wishing things were different and instead being proud of how far you have come opens the space for more confidence. Another way I have been able to develop more self – confidence and self – esteem is through self concept work. If you aren’t familiar with self – concept work it is life changing.

Self-concept work refers to the intentional and often ongoing process of understanding, exploring, and shaping one’s self-concept. Self-concept encompasses the beliefs, perceptions, thoughts, and feelings individuals have about themselves. This includes how someone see their abilities, qualities, values, and overall identity. Engaging in self-concept work involves self-reflection, self-awareness, and intentional efforts to foster a positive and authentic self-perception. A few key aspects of self-concept work are: Self-reflection, challenging core beliefs about who you think you are, cultivating self-compassion, challenging negative self talk, mindfulness and self-awareness.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My main focus is on my coaching clients and teaching ritual magic. I have a website where I sell candles and oils and I currently have a Patreon where I help my clients improve their self concept, heal from traumatic events and step into their full power. I am building a community where my clients have support and guidance so they don’t feel alone on their adventure. I am most excited about changing my client’s lives for the better.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I would say that being open minded and taking chances opened me up to many opportunities in being creative in my business. I would also say sharing my story really helps my clients and the lessons I have learned on my own journey. Have fun, don’t take anything in your business too seriously. If you are early on do your research and look at your competition, also create customer avatars. Also hone in on the customer journey and make sure they are having an amazing experience interacting with your brand. Refine the cusomer touch points.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My parents told me that I could do anything and I believed them and it has helped me continue to build my dream life under any circumstances like last year when I had to beat cancer again after leaving a very toxic job and relationship.
