Meet Haley Green

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Haley Green. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Haley below.

Hi Haley, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Throughout my young adult years I have made very bold decisions within my life that only someone with a great sense of confidence would make. I am a huge risk taker, I truly believe your inner dialogue is what carries your self esteem, your own voice in your head is the first one you hear every morning. I moved on my own to Chicago out of Undergrad with the intention to thrive in a metropolitan city.

Negative self talk and a negative outlook on life won’t ever put you in the the position to win. I heavily rely on my Christian upbringing and relationship with God to get me through my toughest times, remaining diligent in my efforts, resilient and graceful. I personally try not to be unrealistic. Yet I believe a balance of realism and optimism helps along with positive self talk.

I set goals for myself towards things I’m passionate about and want to pursue, I stay true to my creative and sweet nature and always remember that everyday I am so blessed to wake up as myself Haley Alexis Green.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Professionally I am entering grad school on my path to becoming a diagnostic medical sonographer to
help mommy’s much like myself graduating with a second degree in 2025.
While continuing with my brand and business Stylebased LLC. 🤍

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three most important qualities and skills are being business oriented, professional and organized.

Understanding that things take time with a business has been the most impactful on my journey.
I personally get very impatient if things don’t go the way I intend them to immediately.
Overtime my outlook as changed.
Opportunities can pass you up if you aren’t diligent with your work and most importantly consistent.
Professionalism and meeting your personal time frames for deliverables with your clientele is very important, loyalty to your clientele and agency in the creative world plays a huge part. Doing your due diligence on companies and people you collaborate with is important as well.

These skills all while keeping a pleasant demeanor will take you further on your Journi
(pun intended) lol – mom joke!

Let your work speak for itself, always go far and beyond on any project you ever have your
name apart of. I wish every new & fellow creative the best of luck on their journeys 🤍

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
An ideal client for me is someone that is open to avant- garde designs or hires me to design or style different designs in general, Often times shooting natural headshots gets really boring, but is necessary in this industry. I am currently designing a dress made completely out of Polaroid pictures of herself for a client traveling to Bali for her birthday! More over I love unconventional designs that are more of a challenge than working with basic fabrics, but I appreciate my clientele no matter the product and I always design and or style exactly what they envisioned.

I love my makeup and beauty clientele as well, it’s always fun being able to model the trendiest hairstyles, lash styles and makeup.
