Meet Julie Brar

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Julie Brar a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
My purpose came from adversity. My grandfather and husband both passed away from a sudden heart attacks, at different points in my life. My grandfather died when I was only eight years old. It left such a deep impression on me that when I was a teenager I started to learn about the role that diet plays in health and wellbeing. As I grew up my interests changed and I went into other directions. Years later I fell in love and got married. Unfortunately my husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack in 2012. This is became a major turning point for me. That loss brought me back to my earlier passion for nutrition and holistic health. I’ve had many years to process the loss of my husband. My own health also declined because of the how much of a shock it was to me. I’ve learned so much about nutrition and holistic health. I’ve used what I learned to reverse hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s in my body. I now have the tools to help others reverse chronic illness and disease. I’m incredibly inspired to help those who are ready to take back their health. This is my way of shifting my perspective around two very deep and profound losses in my life.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Many people haven’t heard of Regenerative Health yet. My vision is to change that. The work I do is focused on helping my clients to reverse chronic illness and disease. I’ve had the pleasure of helping so many people reverse very serious conditions to get their health back on track. I have all the holistic tools necessary to support someone’s body in regenerating itself at the cellular level. The most exciting part of what I do is that I’m always learning. I work with many bio hacks. I’m always learning something new. I’m forever a student! This also means that as my knowledge expands I’m able to help my clients with cutting edge protocols. In fact just this past week I was a part of a launch for an exciting new product that helps to de-calcify the pineal gland. I also work with amazing tools like molecular hydrogen and redox. Because I’m always learning and growing as a practitioner, I’m always updating my programs to help those I’m working with. I love what I do because I get to impact people’s lives in such profound ways.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The qualities that have helped me has been my desire to become the best version of myself, to continuously expand my own skills and to bring in a team of people to support me as I expand my business. The most important thing I feel is working on yourself and being open to coaching. I have a couple of coaches and advisors that work very closely with. The most successful people in the world are always improving themselves. If you can stay committed to your own growth and development you’ll go very far in life.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always open to collaborating with others. The types of people that I’m looking for are those who are motivated, have a growth mindset and a desire to help others. Motivation is an internal game. No one can help anyone get motivated. It has to be an internal quality, a desire within you to do better and make an impact. Having a growth mindset is as key as motivation. We live in a world that places so many limitations on us and our dreams. It takes a special person to see all this programming for what it is, and have a desire to break away from that type of programming.
