Meet Casey Jones

We were lucky to catch up with Casey Jones recently and have shared our conversation below.

Casey, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Since the first time a camera was put into my hand, my goal was to share love. Share the love my family has for one another. Share the unconditional love of a pet. Share the love students have for education and finally getting to their end goals. Share the love of a couple that is recently engaged. Sharing the love of a bride and groom, surrounded by their family and closest friends.

I share love because of the immense amount of love I have received in my life. From my parents. Brother. Grandmother and Grandfather. Friends. And most importantly, my wonderful husband. They are the reason I do what I do and the reason I share my purpose with the world.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a professional photographer based out of Carrollton, GA. Pinnacle Photography LLC is a company based off of the idea of love and all things that encompasses. I pride myself in delivering quality work, while creating a lasting positive relationship between myself and my clients.

I am currently busy as can be, working on weddings, graduation sessions, family sessions, and community events. Each wedding and session is so special and deserves undivided attention, which is my goal now that I have gone full time with my business. I hope to create and capture memories in which clients can look back on fondly for years to come.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think hard work, practice, and creativity have played such a vital role in my journey as a photographer. By sticking with it, honing my craft, learning from those around me, and experimenting with new and exciting ideas, I have grown immensely in the last 7 years in the business.

To anyone that is looking to start their photography journey, I would say to practice. Try new things. Lean on the community around you and ask as many questions as you can. Community over competition is something that I learned along the way, and I stand by that. You can always learn new things and practice those skills.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
My parents loved me. They led me through life with as much love, care, and advice as they possibly could. They were the ones that were there for me through life’s good times and especially the bad times. My parents noticed my love for photography at a very young age and were the ones to put my beginner camera into my hands. They have done nothing but support me, whether that was in school, when I became a teacher, or now in my new journey as a full time photographer. They truly are some of my biggest cheerleaders. I owe them everything.
