We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Hyde a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Hyde, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic is deeply rooted in my commitment to achieving my life goals. I approach each day with a profound understanding that time is finite, and every day brings me one step closer to realizing my aspirations. This awareness fuels my drive to maximize each moment and dedicate myself wholeheartedly to the tasks at hand. I firmly believe in the power of hard work and diligence in propelling me towards my objectives. With this mindset, I strive to exert my utmost effort in all endeavors, knowing that each day presents an opportunity for progress and success in the ultimate race against the clock
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’ve always been deeply passionate about the art of visual storytelling, channeling my expertise in professional videography, photography, and cosmetology into every project I undertake. From curating fashion and makeup tutorials to exploring music and lifestyle content, I thrive on infusing each piece with a distinct “Vampire” aesthetic that sets it apart.
My fascination with Japanese culture serves as an additional source of inspiration, adding a captivating layer of intrigue to my creative endeavors. It’s this unique blend of influences that sets my content apart, captivating audiences around the world.
However, what truly distinguishes my journey is the incredible community I’ve had the privilege to build over the years – the Baby Bats, our Patreon community. Their unwavering support has not only propelled me towards achieving my personal and philanthropic goals, including spearheading bat animal conservation efforts and organizing public events, but it has also fostered a network of love and encouragement for every member.
Collaborating with various companies and brands has been an exciting aspect of my journey. From jewelry and makeup to clothing and beyond, I’ve had the opportunity to work on exciting projects that resonate with my audience. Recently, we’ve expanded our horizons by organizing trips for our members worldwide. Through our Patreon platform, we’re even planning to offer complimentary trips to members, providing them with unforgettable travel experiences at no cost.
As we continue to evolve and expand, our commitment to providing unparalleled content and experiences remains unwavering. Join me on this exhilarating journey as we embark on new adventures, create lasting memories, and celebrate the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey, three qualities have stood out as particularly impactful: resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning.
Resilience has been crucial in overcoming setbacks and persevering through challenges. Embracing failure as a learning opportunity, staying focused on long-term goals, and maintaining a positive mindset have been key strategies in cultivating resilience.
Adaptability has been essential in navigating the fast-paced and ever-changing landscape of my field. By remaining open to new ideas, embracing challenges that push me out of my comfort zone, and staying curious about emerging trends, I’ve been able to pivot when necessary and seize emerging opportunities.
Continuous learning has been instrumental in my growth journey, enabling me to stay ahead of the curve and remain competitive. Whether through formal education, online courses, mentorship programs, or self-directed learning, prioritizing ongoing education has been essential in honing existing skills and acquiring new ones.
For those who are early in their journey, I would advise them to focus on developing these three qualities. Cultivate resilience by embracing failure and maintaining a positive mindset. Foster adaptability by staying open to new ideas and challenges. And commit to lifelong learning, recognizing that growth is a continuous journey rather than a destination. By embodying these qualities, individuals can navigate challenges more effectively, seize opportunities with confidence, and ultimately achieve their goals.
