Meet Katt Lyons Berg

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Katt Lyons Berg . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Katt, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Myself but also how I grew up. I got my work ethic from my mother she was all about working hard as a single mom of 6 kids. She worked full time and had to rely on herself so seeing that from a young age inspired me to work hard and to work hard for the things I wanted in life. From age 17 I worked and I do love making my own money . To this day I work multiple jobs and have multiple sources of income.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
So I’ve been modeling since I was 17 and when I was 22 I did my first modeling job and my first runway fashion show. I’ve been modeling ever since and now I run my own business and studio with my photographer husband. I also work as a social media Influencer. I model clothing and studio spaces for companies. I also work for a magazine in the UK as a writer. It’s alot of work but it has its perks and I love it. It’s been my passion for years and I’m happy to get paid to do it for a living. We just upgraded our bodouir part of our studio so I’m working on doing photoshoots there. I’m always working on myself mentally & physically. I’ve been in therapy and had a life coach for over 10 years and I think that has helped me be a strong woman in business.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Dedicated, determination, drive I think helped me build my career. Working in social media and modeling is definitely not for the weak of heart you definitely have to have tough skin and patience since it is a slow process unless you go viral on tiktok or something. Putting yourself out there definitely will help you get work on social media Daily posting and constant updates is the right way to go when building your business. Owning and running your business is a daily process . It’s something that you have to work on daily also having the continued passion will help you to want to continue moving forward.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Besides my husband who is my bestfriend/partner he supports my passions and helps me in building my business. I also have a friend who also has her own business (Cameron) she inspires me in my own business. These 2 strong people in my life that have their own businesses really gives me more drive/passion to keep going with my business and what I’m passionate about.
