IMRAN , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I have developed my self-esteem and confidence over time, primarily through self-awareness and self-acceptance. Initially, I experienced some apprehension when speaking in public or discussing my studies with others. However, through personal growth and learning experiences, I have cultivated techniques to navigate these situations effectively. I view self-esteem as an inherent trait, but I’ve also come to understand the importance of nurturing it through positive self-talk, setting achievable goals, and celebrating my successes. Ultimately, my confidence stems from recognizing my worth and embracing the unique qualities that make me who I am. I am calm and compose, and I don’t feel the need to show that I am confident or unique. I am easy with myself and go with ‘what I am’ attitude
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I embarked on my journey as an actor during my eighth-grade years when I was captivated by the movie ‘Hera Pheri,’ starring Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna. Inspired, I recreated the film as a play and shared it with my community. This ignited my passion for acting, leading me to participate in small, amateur theater productions. Over time, I transitioned from amateur to professional theater, honing my skills and pursuing my passion.
Slowly I have graviated from amature to professional theater. Then I did my film making course, and finally landed in Bombay as a full time actor.
Prior to my acting career, I worked as a software engineer, holding prominent positions in both Indian and multinational companies, accumulating extensive experience in information technology.
Despite my successful career in IT, I felt compelled to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. Despite initial apprehension from my family, I took the bold step of leaving behind a flourishing career to venture into the unfamiliar world of the film industry, without the support of a godfather.
In addition to my pursuits in acting, I am also an author. During my time in the IT field, I authored several books on information technology. Recently, I delved into fiction writing and penned the English novel ‘Out of My Body,’ which became a bestseller and received the prestigious The Best Paranormal Book Award from the Al-Riyad Library in Egypt.
Furthermore, I am excited to announce the upcoming launch of my next book, ‘The Djinn’s Curse,’ a paranormal novel set to be released on April 6, 2024.

If you aspire to join the film industry as an actor, it’s crucial to have a thorough understanding of the craft. Jumping into it without proper training or knowledge may hinder your chances of making a significant impact. Developing a strong command over language, especially Hindi, is essential for effective communication and expression in the industry.
