Meet ERICA CRAWLEY

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful ERICA CRAWLEY a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi ERICA, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I developed my confidence and self-esteem when I discovered and fell in love with me. Also, becoming a mom to an impressionable daughter pushes me to want to exude confidence because I am my child’s first role model. I understand It’s my obligation to show all qualities of a confident woman, through my clothes, how I walk, how I talk, how I treat others and most importantly how I treat myself. For years I would let my experiences with other people determine who I was until I kept coming up depleted, sad and insecure. It wasn’t until I started to do the internal and spiritual work that I realized I can BE and DO more when I’m confident in my capabilities to carry myself with high esteem. To develop confidence and self-esteem requires work, it requires the removal of people, places and things that deplete you and the addition of things that bring in joy. For me I brought in God, therapy, self care, self love, fun, faith and a stylish wardrobe!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I started Roxiebstylin with a passion for helping mompreneurs elevate their style and confidence as they navigate the unique challenges of balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood. As a mom myself, I understand firsthand the desire to still look after having a baby while juggling the demands of working and running a new styling business. When I was a new mom alot of things quickly fell apart for me, my relationship, my job, my confidence and my looks. I never want to return to that woman who was doing everything but nothing at all when it came to taking care of herself. The days of looking like a struggle mom and not living up to our full potential is not what we should give in to, which was my reason for creating Roxiebstylin.

As a personal stylist specializing in entrepreneurs who also happen to be moms, I’ve made it my mission to empower women to look and feel their absolute best as they navigate the challenging yet rewarding journey of balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship.

With my “Style Pick Me Up” virtual styling services, catering to busy mompreneurs who are looking for quick and effective results to create the right foundation for their wardrobes. I’ve experienced the frustration of trying to figure out personal style on your own and the countless hours and dollars wasted in the process. With my virtual styling services, clients receive personalized recommendations and advice tailored to their unique style preferences and lifestyle needs, saving them time, money, and frustration in the process.

But that’s not all—we’ve also recently introduced our newest services: in-person and virtual CEO style consulting. Designed for executive-level professionals, CEOs, and entrepreneurs who have achieved significant career milestones and are ready to align their style with their success, these services offer a comprehensive approach to personal styling. No more DIY attempts or piecemeal solutions—my clients want it all done for them, and they want it done right the first time around. From wardrobe audits and closet organization to personalized shopping experiences and outfit styling, my CEO style consulting services ensure that every aspect of their style is impeccably curated to reflect their professional achievements and personal brand.

I’m passionate about helping women step into their power, embrace their unique style, and show the world what they’re capable of achieving. Whether it’s through our virtual styling services or our CEO style consulting, I’m committed to providing my clients with the tools, support, and confidence they need to succeed both personally and professionally. It’s a privilege to be a part of their journey, and I can’t wait to see the transformative impact that personalized styling can have on their lives.

Thank you for allowing me to share my story and my passion with you. I look forward to helping more moms elevate their style and shine bright in every endeavor they pursue.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Empathy, expertise and collaboration

Empathy: My advice for those early in their journey is to practice empathy in all interactions, actively listen to your clients’ concerns, and strive to see the world through their eyes. Empathy fosters deeper connections and allows you to tailor your services to meet your clients’ needs effectively.

Expertise: My advice for newcomers is to invest in ongoing education and professional development, whether through courses, workshops, or networking events. Building expertise takes time and dedication, but the investment pays off in providing exceptional value to your clients.

Collaboration: My advice for those starting out is to prioritize and remember that collaboration allows for professional and personal development, creative problem-solving and the exchange of ideas, between you and your clients which leads to innovative solutions and an awesome partnership.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is a driven and ambitious mompreneur who values personal development, seeks work-life balance, and desires confidence and self-expression through her personal style. She is open-minded, willing to learn, and eager to invest in herself to achieve her goals and aspirations. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, creating a wardrobe and personal brand that reflects her unique personality, goals, and aspirations.
