Meet Tracey Lewis

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tracey Lewis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tracey below.

Tracey, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Once I committed to a more intimate relationship with God is when I found my purpose here on earth. I had to shut down all social media accounts, pray, read his word and increase my listening skills to hear from him.
I realized that I had a special purpose to fulfill – that was to be a difference maker and help those who are in need of healing, freedom and growth. I knew that there was something in me that the world needed to experience. Therefore, every painful, cycle of bondage and character building moment I have experienced. It was meant for me to utilize my gifts that God had given me. I overcame everything with the help of God and crying out to him.
As a result, I created my business “Melanin Health Mama LLC” to give back those strengths that I gained from the failures, pain, and moments where my I had to find truth.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am the Chief Executive Officer of Melanin Health Mama LLC. A faith-based health and wellness coaching as well as consulting business. I offer services such as emotional & mental health support, nutrition/meal planning, revenue cycle and disease prevention. What makes my business stand out is that I offer classes and tutoring. In addition, I have new products that I am trying to launch. For example, inspirational necklaces and a coffee bar selling dairy-free lattes.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think faith, resilience and patience were the top three qualities that were most impactful. I would say, trust the process that God has sent out for you to go through. Love yourself and others; never give up and wait patiently for things to work out how it needs to.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
I think the most impactful thing my parents did for me was teach me how to be strong with out without anyone.
