Meet Ignacio Orellana

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ignacio Orellana. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ignacio, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Hi, i think that comes from years of preparation and study. In the end it is never too late to learn something and that has always helped me when it comes that time of knowing what you are doing and also to be standing when you don’t know but allows you to do educated guesses and i think that is all to it.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
When i was in my early twenties, one member of my band said to me, i could imagine you spending all the time and effort on doing something else besides music. I know that if you spend as much time and dedication to that as you do to the band… you/ll be successful no matter what.

Well, it has been almost 24 years after and i did what my friend told me at that time… i created something else besides music.

‘I’m located in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, where there are a big number of restaurants around with a variety of cultures. My family and I enjoy going out to eat at different restaurants and learning about new foods and flavors. After tasting many foods, we decided to create a product that would complement flavors from other cultures, while adding a little spice to it.

Welcome: Aceite Diablo, a blend of devilish spices turned into a sinfully delicious chili oil. Our products doesn’t change the original flavor of the food, but instead, adds a kick!

We only work with approved products to ensure that our customers consume only high quality spices. All of our ingredients are FDA approved, therefore our product is safe and delicious!’

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Study, because the knowledge and learning will always help when communication with others.

Experiment, because all of the success come after you have solved some errors and also pay attention to the happy mistakes because they will gives you ideas.

Don’t be afraid to fail, nothing is perfect ever and the world will keeps spinning after you succeed or fail… the lesson is to continue until you are satisfied with yourself and your work, and not the approval of outside entities.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
The number one obstacle for the new direction is that not to know nothing about it but the feel in your guts that if what you thought it was going to be your life, it wasn’t, maybe the opposite direction will take you to that special place that you are yearning for your whole your life.

I see that the only way to achieve success is to follow your instincts and ask around to the people that you know that they have more knowledge than you about the journey where you are now goinug through.

As i was saying before, adaptation is the key for success, nothing is granted and you must go through the whole nine yards once again to get to the other side.
