Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sofia Garcia . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Sofia , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
Sometimes when people go through tough times in life they can take either of two paths;you can choose to look at life in a negative way or you can reflect on those things that happened and look at it through a lense of resilience. Resilience, in the sense of overcoming those negative emotions and transmuting them into positive. I would say my optimistic outlook of life stems from just that. “Superando Lo Malo Y Creando Lo Bueno” (over coming the bad and creating the good) There is always negative in the positive and positive in the negative. You just have to find the light in any situation and prevail.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Sofia which means wisdom. I am an artist, I mainly do photography and occasionally I paint aswell. I love being able to help people see the beauty in everything & spread positivity through art.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities I’ve obtained throughout my journey are being able to see the positive in anything, having a good eye for seeing beauty wherever I go, & really trying to listen, understand, and have compassion towards others. If I were to give any advice it would be to walk through life in a positive light, be very observant & always remember deep down we are not very different from each other we are actually quite the same.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
A book that has really impacted my life is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho it has taught me to pay attention to the omens that are presented before me and to be in tune with my intuition. To make connections with others, be fully present in the moment. Enjoy this journey called life; To never give up on what you are striving for no matter what trials and tribulations come along & if you ever feel lost always remember “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
