Meet Dr. Jacqueline Floyd

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dr. Jacqueline Floyd. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dr. Jacqueline, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from.

My optimism comes from a variety of influences. First, my upbringing was full of positivity, thanks to my parents who always encouraged me to aim high and give my best. They created an environment where success felt natural, pushing me to dream big and set achievable goals.

Growing up in a dynamic city like New York provided diverse experiences, from dance classes to charm school, giving me a well-rounded childhood. My parents’ proactive choices, like moving to the suburbs for a better environment, expanded my horizons and showed their commitment to my well-being.

My religious beliefs centered on God also play a significant role, giving my life purpose and helping me find hope in tough times. Challenges become growth opportunities, reinforcing my resilience and belief that setbacks are temporary.

Notable achievements, like graduating with honors despite personal challenges and owning a home at a young age, confirm that perseverance pays off. Each success, big or small, strengthens my faith in the goodness of life and the human spirit.

I’ve trained my mind to focus on the positive, building self-esteem and confidence to tackle life’s uncertainties with optimism.

My social network, including close friends and family, has been a constant source of support. Their encouragement, practical help, and camaraderie boosted my optimism through thick and thin.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As CEO of Results Realty, LLC, part of EXP Realty, I’ve spent eight years developing my business and role, which goes beyond home sales; I see myself as both an educator and an advocate for my clients. Each day, I approach this dynamic world with a passion for both properties and people.

When meeting clients, whether first-time buyers or seasoned investors, I focus on education. I equip clients with knowledge about the market, neighborhoods, and property transactions, ensuring they understand each step and feel confident in their decisions.

Matching individuals with the right properties is crucial. By listening to and understanding client’s needs, preferences, and dreams, I offer options that suit their lifestyle and investment goals.

Beyond transactions, I aim to build lasting relationships as a trusted advisor for real estate guidance over time. I strive to be a reliable resource and ally.

Success isn’t just about sales numbers but the impact on clients’ lives. Helping someone find their dream home or achieve real estate goals is fulfilling. This motivates me to expand my knowledge, stay ahead of trends, and provide top-level service. Given recent real estate discussions, transparency and ethical conduct are essential. I uphold professionalism and integrity, ensuring clients are well-informed and empowered throughout.

Being a real estate consultant isn’t just a career; it’s a journey of learning, growth, and helping others achieve homeownership and financial security. Each day presents new opportunities to make a positive impact, and I’m grateful to be part of this exciting industry.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge stand out:

  1. Continuous learning: Never stop absorbing new information and refining skills. Dive into resources like books, online courses, workshops, and mentorship programs to understand business fundamentals and stay updated on industry trends. Develop skills like problem-solving, decision-making, financial literacy, and leadership.
  2. Strong support system: Surround yourself with mentors, advisors, fellow entrepreneurs, and supportive friends or family members who can offer guidance, feedback, and encouragement. Attend networking events to connect with like-minded individuals and access partnerships, mentorship, and resources.
  3. Resilience and adaptability: Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and treat setbacks as lessons. Stay flexible and adjust strategies based on feedback and changing circumstances. Cultivate a positive mindset and determination to push through tough times, seizing opportunities for innovation.

In conclusion, entrepreneurship demands continuous growth, networking, and resilience. By prioritizing learning, building a support network, and embracing resilience and adaptability, newcomers can pave the way for success in the business world.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

In the fast-paced world of real estate, I’ve found that building strong partnerships with fellow professionals is crucial for delivering exceptional service to clients.

Firstly, I prioritize teaming up with experienced mortgage brokers or lenders. Working closely with these professionals streamlines the home-buying process, providing valuable insights and ensuring seamless transactions for clients.

Collaborating with skilled home inspectors is also vital. They play a critical role in assessing property conditions, identifying potential issues, promoting transaction transparency, and empowering buyers to make informed decisions.

Engagement with real estate attorneys is essential to navigate complex legal aspects. Having a knowledgeable attorney onboard ensures contracts are reviewed, legal concerns addressed, and closings facilitated smoothly, safeguarding everyone’s interests.

Seeking relationships with reputable contractors and repair specialists allows for efficient property improvements, enhancing value and marketability for clients.

Lastly, networking with fellow real estate agents and brokers expands collaboration and referral opportunities, providing access to resources, market insights, and potential leads. Building a robust professional network benefits clients and elevates our industry’s reputation.

If you’re interested in connecting or collaborating, please reach out. I’m always open to expanding my network and exploring new avenues to enhance our success in real estate together. Let’s create more opportunities and share ideas to serve our clients better.
