Meet Chef Chazzy

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chef Chazzy a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Chef , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
As an International fusion chef balancing multiple roles and responsibilities, I keep my creativity alive by constantly seeking inspiration from diverse sources. I draw on my cultural heritage, experiences, and travels to infuse unique flavors and techniques into my cooking. I also stay updated on culinary trends, experiment with new ingredients, and collaborate with other chefs and food enthusiasts to exchange ideas and techniques. Additionally, I prioritize self-care and personal time to recharge and stay mentally and emotionally refreshed, allowing me to bring my best creative energy to my culinary endeavors.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m thrilled to introduce the first cooking school and prep kitchen in Cobb County, set to open in summer 2024! Our farm-to-table menu philosophy ensures that we prioritize fresh, locally sourced ingredients in all our dishes. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing hands-on cooking classes, private catering, and meal prep services that highlight international fusion cuisine. From Asian to Caribbean to Hispanic flavors, we offer a diverse range of culinary experiences. Stay tuned for updates on our grand opening and where current classes are on my social media IG, Facebook Tiktok, or YouTube @chazzy_licious_is_cookin !!!!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, adaptability, perseverance, and creativity were crucial in my journey. My advice: Embrace change, stay resilient in the face of challenges, and nurture your creative instincts. Surround yourself with mentors, continue learning, and never underestimate the power of networking. Most importantly, believe in yourself and your vision—it’s the fuel that will drive you forward.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, I’m actively seeking collaborations with food & beverage managers of hotels’ rooftops, kitchenware companies, event spaces, and mobile bars in Atlanta and surrounding cities. I’m passionate about bringing unique culinary experiences to life and would love to partner with those who share this vision. If you’re interested in collaborating, please reach out to me directly via email chazzyskitchn@gmail.com or social media—I’d love to connect and explore potential opportunities together!
